I have lost the ability to run the administrative console using any Mac or Windows7 browser. On Mac OS 10.6 the Java console gives the following message:

load: class com.universaldevices.client.ui.UDClientApplet.class not found.

java.lang.ClassNotFoundException: com.universaldevices.client.ui.UDClientApplet.class

at sun.applet.AppletClassLoader.findClass(AppletClassLoader.java:211)

at sun.applet.AppletPanel.run(AppletPanel.java:368)

at java.lang.Thread.run(Thread.java:680)

When I'm local, there's no problem at all.

What do I do here. Sorry if this has been addressed endlessly--- I can't find the answer in the forums.

Hello Richard,

In most cases, probably the IP address of your ISP has changed. If you have set up remote access using File | Enable Internet Access, then please use File | Disable Internet Access and then enable it again.

It's always best to use a combination of static IP address and Dynamic DNS so that changes in IP would not affect you:

With kind regards,
