DNS Domain not working anymore

Featured Replies

I recently changes a few things on my home network including my internal DNS server and ever since ISY is not expanding host name to include the DHCP assigned domain.

To recap, I use a DHCP server to assign a static address to the ISY99i, including all the extra parameters like domain, DNS server, WINS server, etc.

Prior to switching my internal DNS/DHCP server, ISY was able to find internal hosts using just their host name, now it cannot, however every other statically assigned DHCP host on my network is doing fine under the new regime.

So my question is, is there some way I can debug this easily? Is there a CLI I can log into to check host name lookup information, or is there a way I can see what ISY is using for host name lookups?

Thanks.
