Process Message: failed

Recommended Posts

When looking at logs tonight in dealing with the whole issue of the thermostats constantly stopping to communicate, I happened to notice a message that says "Process Message: failed" that is occurring frequently.

The error message is in the log below my sig and I made the last entry in the log red to point out the line that I keep seeing.

Can someone tell me what this means and if it is anything to be concerned about or part of some normal process?

Thanks,

Bruce

The "Duplicate: ignored" and "Process Message: failed" can be ignored when associated with an RF device. The RF devices issue multiple copies of the same message resulting in ignored and failed conclusions. This is what the ISY does with the duplicate messages. The first of each message is being handled correctly by the ISY.

Devices 14.2D.B3 and 14.2D.AB, what are they, motion sensor, triggerlinc or thermostat?
