What is the cost to upgrade to Pro ? I am trying to decide if I should get the standard until I need to upgrade or just buy the Pro.

It is $30US firmware upgrade for the Pro module.

 

Besides supporting more devices, scenes, and programs the Pro has batch mode to cache writes to devices.

Unless you have more than ~75 devices the standard model should be fine.
