has any body tried the MobiLinc for the Android? I have been trying to get the down load but for some reason can't.

Yes. So far it seems very nice. It's in beta. I do wish they had more icons to choose from for different devices, like a door lock and garage door.

 

Note: On the phone, you must go to Settings / Application Settings and check the Unknown sources box. If your service providers removed this option, you will not be able to install it until it is offered through the Android Market (or you move to a better provider).

 

Go to Mobilinc's website on a computer via the link in the forum.

 

There is a bar code you can scan with the bar code reader app on your Android phone. (install "bar code reader" from the market if you don't have one).

 

When you scan it, it automatically starts to download.

 

Pull down the notification bar to watch the progress. When it's done, press it and it will install.
