andyf0 Posted May 27, 2011 Posted May 27, 2011 This morning I was a little shocked to see my lights turn off earlier than scheduled. After some digging around I found that the ISY's clock was 6 minutes fast. That doesn't seem possible since it is supposed to correct itself with the NTP server every 24hrs. I checked the error log and the only NTP entry was after a power down last weekend while I updated the router. I clicked sync now and time was updated fine. Is there something that could be done to allow a notification to be setup if NTP access failed? Edit: Of course, the NTP server I used could have hiccupped, it is after all a government run server
Michel Kohanim Posted May 27, 2011 Posted May 27, 2011 Hi Andy, If NTP server fails, ISY will retry a few times before giving up. Unfortunately there are no solutions for sensing and notifying NTP issues right now. With kind regards, Michel
