PLM/ISY writes work, but not reads

I have a simple setup with an ISY-99i/IR PRO connected via PLM to several ToggleLincs and a couple I/OLincs.

I should probably start by saying that everything was working great a few months ago. Then I installed the Venstar thermostat adapter. I had the typical problem as everyone else. Initially everything seemed to work. Then after a week or so, my entire insteon network would lock up and I couldn't read/write from anything. I would unplug the thermostat adapter, power cycle the PLM and ISY and everything seemed ok. I have since then left the thermostat adapter unplugged until I can get it replaced.

I seem to have a new problem that may or may not be related to the Venstar adapter. The ISY doesn't seem to get any event notifications from any devices (I've tried them all). I can write to all the devices from the ISY admin console. If I query a device from the ISY admin console, it gets the correct status. However, for example, I have a program that is supposed to alert me when my garage opens (connected via I/OLinc). This program never runs unless I open the garage, then query the device.

I'm not sure exactly when this problem started so I'm not sure if it's related to the Venstar adapter or an ISY firmware update I did a little while back (ISY firmware v2.8.16). I've tried factory resetting my PLM countless times, power cycling the ISY or various devices. Any help would be appreciated.

A factory reset of the PLM erases all the link records needed for devices to communicate status to the ISY. Run File | Restore Modem (PLM) which will rewrite the PLM link database.

If any of the devices were factory reset a Restore Device must be run against those devices.
