Remote and local connection fails after power outage

I use dyndns for remote connections to MyLighting my DVR with six camera's and my laptop at our summer home all very successful until Irene caused a power failure which is restored. I have been connecting to the laptop and dvr but when I try my lighting I get the username and password prompt and then a blank screen and the username prompt appears again and again repeatedly. I logged into the laptop and tried to login to MyLighting in the Network and Sharing Center but get the same results. I can login remotely to the DVR and can see that the outdoor lights are on as scheduled but can't login to MyLighting (ISY-99ir)

Thanks

Hello captfisk,

The first thing we need to do is to make sure you are actually talking to ISY. Can you please login to your laptop and then go to http://your.isy.ip.address/desc ?

If you do not get anything and/or if the result is not XML, then - and in all likelihood - the IP address for ISY was changed and you are connecting to something else.

If your laptop is Windows based - and if you have 2.8.16 installed - you can get to ISY by typing http://isy OR you can go to http://www.universal-devices.com/99i provided that you are local to ISY.

With kind regards,

Michel

I'm local at the laptop and tried to login using my shortcut even tried the http://isy AND http://www.universal-devices.com/99i. I did get to the administrative screen but every time I tried to login I get "Authorization Failed" My router is a DLink DIR-655 and the ip is reserved for the ISY so it appears ok. My Lighting appears in Network and Sharing and the properties for MyLighting shows the same ip thats reserved in the router.

Thanks,

Please disregard previous post I found a fix (I hope) I reread the user manual and saw the section about resetting userid/password back to default but I didn't follow the instructions, when the login screen appeared I typed admin for userid and password and this worked I then set the userid and password back to what it was. I closed everything and logged in numerous times so everything looks ok. I have no idea why it "lost" the password from a power outage but now everything is back.

Thanks for your help.
