jesse.clauson Posted October 4, 2011 Posted October 4, 2011 I have been struggling to turn on a device at different levels for different times of day. I have two switchlinc dimmers set up as a virtual 3-way switch. I'd like to be able to change the on level and ramp rate through a program based on the time so that when a controller is activated it goes directly to the desired level without waiting a second to run the program and turn the adjusted scene on. I think there are a couple of limitations here of which either being removed would allow for this type of control. I think the simplest solution would be to allow the adjustment of device "on levels" the same way it is possible with adjusting scenes.
LeeG Posted October 4, 2011 Posted October 4, 2011 jesse.clauson Specify the particular SwitchLinc as both the Scene Controller and device to set the On Level and Ramp Rate on the Adjust Scene statement. However, there is an open problem with the ISY where the links for one device are used as links on another device that is assumed to be related to the use of Adjust Scene. Suggest waiting for a solution to that problem before using the Adjust Scene on a regular basis. Lee
