Digging up this old thread again.  I just upgraded to 5.0.14 and it appears to have broken the Eventghost plugin.  Does anyone have an updated plugin by chance for Eventghost?

I am looking for the same as I just upgraded to V5 as well.   Hopefully someone will be able to develop a new plugin.  Thanks........

Configure browser push notifications
Chrome (Android)
  1. Tap the lock icon next to the address bar.
  2. Tap Permissions → Notifications.
  3. Adjust your preference.
Chrome (Desktop)
  1. Click the padlock icon in the address bar.
  2. Select Site settings.
  3. Find Notifications and adjust your preference.
