Request: Popup for version conflict

I just thought the other day that maybe it would be good when you launch the ISY that it would give a popup only if the browser cached version did not match the installed version of the code base. This way the user would know to clear the browser cache and would not have issues with the weirdness that comes from this problem.

 

Message example:

 

The web browser cached version of the ISY code does not match the installed version. Please clear your browser cache and re-launch the ISY Admin Console.

That's a good idea, Mark, as we seem to see quite a few questions on the forum which are eventually resolved by clearing the Java cache. [i remember the first time it happened to me .]

Very good idea ... we have to see what we can do because, currently, the client has no notion of the version. Version is the firmware version for ISY and not the client.
