I have an 8-button SwitchLinc 2 and adding it to the administrative console only results in 6 buttons. Is the SwitchLinc 2 supported? If so, what might I be doing wrong? LeeG Posted December 17, 2011 Share Posted December 17, 2011 Are you asking about an 8 button KeypadLinc? If this was originally a 6 button KeypadLinc that was converted to 8 buttons, the Device Type for an 8 button KeypadLinc must be selected from the pulldown. If Auto Discover is being used the basic device cat/subcat is retrieved from the KeypadLinc which will indicate a 6 button KeypadLinc even though converted to 8 button. If asking about a RemoteLinc2 the three RemoteLinc2 variants are listed in the Device Type pulldown near the very top. Do not use the RemoteLinc device type for a RemoteLinc2 device. Also the ISY firmware must be on one of the later 3.1.x images as RemoteLinc2 device support was not added until around 3.1.12. Recommend 3.1.14 if not all ready there.
