Problem with 3 way switch with Switchlinc 2476D

I have 2 switchlinc 2476D switches setup in a 3 way switch configuration. I did not link them from the switches themselves, I simply imported them into the ISY-99i and then created a new scene and assigned them to the scene, with the line switch being the controller and the load switch being the responder. These switches are for my kitchen light, and have a scene called "Kitchen-Light" The problem I am seeing is on the controller switch, I see the message "Copy Scene Attributes from Kitchen-Light". When I click on the responder switch I see what I expected, which is the status, on-level, Membership, etc.... In addition, if I turn the light on from the line switch, both switches reflect the correct state, however, when I turn the light on from the load switch, only the load switch reflects the correct state. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

thank you

Both devices must be Controllers of the same ISY Scene. The ISY will cross link them and the status of both devices will be in sync.

How do I do that? What I did when I created the scene was this:

- Create new scene

- drag the line switch to the scene and tell it that it is the controller

- drag the load switch to the scene and tell it that it is the responder

When I look at the switches individually I see the folllowing:

- line switch

- Is Controller for

- Kitchen-Light (the scene name)

- Kitchen-Light-FR (the load switch) and is in blue

- Is Responder to

- Kitchen-Light (the scene name)

- load switch

- Is Controller for (nothing)

- Is Responder to

- Kitchen-Light (the scene name)

- Kitchen-Light-BR (the line switch) and is in red

You already have an ISY Scene where one switch is a Controller and one switch is a Responder. Delete the Responder switch from the Scene and add it back as a Controller. Only one ISY Scene is required for the cross linking to be established. The ISY assumes a Controller is also a Responder.

They both now have the option to "Copy Scene Attributes...." and when i click on each switch in the scene, that particular switch shows in red and [Applied Locally]

When the Scene definition is expanded both switches should be listed below the Scene name and both node names should be red.

The single ISY Scene evolves out to multiple Insteon Scenes. Each Insteon Scene has one Controller and one or more responders. The responders of the Controller can have unique On Level and Ramp Rate values for the particular controller. The On Level and Ramp Rate values for the Responders of a Controller can be copied from another Controller in the same Scene using the Copy Scene Attributes ... button.

You can also click on the Scene name, set the On Level and Ramp Rate values and check the Apply Changes To All Devices check box.. This directs the ISY to apply the defined On Level and Ramp Rate values to all the Controllers responders.
