Goose66 Posted January 25, 2012 Posted January 25, 2012 The is no month ranges or day ranges, just date ranges. This has been a long standing complaint. That being said, I have found that just programming 4 or 5 date ranges for the next 4 or 5 years is no problem, since I RARELY let things stay the same for more than a few months, much less more than a few years! For instance, here is the folder conditions for my Irrigation folder containing my sprinkler programs. The dates correspond to when my irrigation meter is turned on and off by the utility company: If From 12:01:00AM on 2012/05/01 To 11:59:00PM on 2012/10/31 Or From 12:01:00AM on 2013/05/01 To 11:59:00PM on 2013/10/31 Or From 12:01:00AM on 2014/05/01 To 11:59:00PM on 2014/10/31 Then Allow the programs in this folder to run.
apostolakisl Posted January 25, 2012 Posted January 25, 2012 Check out the wiki. I posted an entire series of programs that set variables to indicate all of the various date parameters. It allows you set all of the variables of time independently. In other words, you can set which months you want something to happen without having to put the year or day. So once programmed, it would continue to happen every year during that month forever (or until your ISY dies or you replace it )
