Synchrolinc Turns Itself Off while Watching Movies

I have my A/V receiver plugged into a synchrolinc. It controls turning on/off my subwoofer. While watching movies, during quiet passages the Synchrolinc will turn itself off and thus the subwoofer. I have tried various settings but I'm either missing something or I don't understand the settings well enough to calibrate the synchrolinc properly through the ISY. I'm open to suggestions.
