I've searched the forums and found posts where people say they are opening and closing curtains.

 

How are people accomplishing this?

 

I bought an IOLinc and figured that I would program a microcontroller to pull back the curtains. Is this the way people are doing it? I'm looking for a relatively inexpensive way to do it (I dont want to put thousands of dollars into it).

I thought I remembered seeing smarthome selling a kit for drape control, you may want to try there first. I think the kit includes an I/O linc.

 

I'm curious if anyone knows any controls for plantation shutters!
