cats Posted March 11, 2012 Posted March 11, 2012 Hello, I lost power to my black box....upon loving back in, I can see everything (lights and appliances) and their status, except for my controllers--desktop remote and 2440. They each still work, but, can no longer see the status of each button in My Lighting. Have tried query and relogging into software, but, still can't get status. should I just try to readd them and keep existing links? Thanks.

oberkc Posted March 12, 2012 Posted March 12, 2012 I don't believe you can query battery-operated devices. Unless in linking mode, they are not listening for commands...only transmitting.
Brian H Posted March 12, 2012 Posted March 12, 2012 As oberkc has pointed out. RF devices go into a power saving mode and will not respond to a status request. My 2440s are the same way. If My Lighting shows no status. I can push the buttons on them to show the last known status.
