edfinley Posted February 6, 2008 Posted February 6, 2008 Is there a way you can have running a scene trigger a program to run? Ed Quote
Michel Kohanim Posted February 6, 2008 Posted February 6, 2008 Hello edfinley, Unfortunately not at the moment since we do not maintain the states of scenes . There's a requirement to do so and we are investigating it. With kind regards, Michel Is there a way you can have running a scene trigger a program to run?Ed Quote
edfinley Posted February 6, 2008 Author Posted February 6, 2008 Is there another way from the web interface (2.7) to run a program other than turning a device on or off? Quote
Michel Kohanim Posted February 6, 2008 Posted February 6, 2008 Yes, In the program summary, click on the desired program and from the drop down list choose Run. With kind regards, Michel Is there another way from the web interface (2.7) to run a program other than turning a device on or off? Quote
edfinley Posted February 6, 2008 Author Posted February 6, 2008 That works with the administrative console. Ideally I'm looking to be able to run a program from a PDA browser without going to the console. For now I'm using a insteon closet light as the trigger. It would be nice if either a scene could trigger a program or a web page could list all of the programs. One other suggestion, a lot of folks are using programs as flags. Is there a way to eventually have a dedicated set of flags? Thanks, Ed Quote
Michel Kohanim Posted February 6, 2008 Posted February 6, 2008 Ed, Apologies for the confusion. We are working on adding more features to the simple HTML interface and I have added your requirement in our list. With kind regards, Michel That works with the administrative console.
