Guest Posted June 6, 2012 Posted June 6, 2012 Hi all When I try to create a floor plan thru the admin console....I first end up with this.. and soon falls apart "somewhere" resulting in Exception in thread "Thread-21" java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: com/universaldevices/floorplan/UDAbstractFloorPlanScene at java.lang.Class.forName0(Native Method) at java.lang.Class.forName(Unknown Source) at com.universaldevices.ui.UDMenuSystem.performAction(Unknown Source) at com.universaldevices.ui.UDMenuSystem$1.run(Unknown Source) Caused by: java.lang.ClassNotFoundException: com.universaldevices.floorplan.UDAbstractFloorPlanScene at sun.plugin2.applet.Applet2ClassLoader.findClass(Unknown Source) at sun.plugin2.applet.Plugin2ClassLoader.loadClass0(Unknown Source) at sun.plugin2.applet.Plugin2ClassLoader.loadClass(Unknown Source) at sun.plugin2.applet.Plugin2ClassLoader.loadClass(Unknown Source) at java.lang.ClassLoader.loadClass(Unknown Source) ... 4 more Anyone know a LOT more than me about java related stuff....the address which Java seems to want me to login into there looks a little bizzzzzaaaaar. I assumed I was supposed to be using UN/PW for ISY Java 6 Standard Edition Version 6 Update 31 (build 1.6.0_31-b05) Cheers and thanks in advance PLCG
Michel Kohanim Posted June 6, 2012 Posted June 6, 2012 Hello PLCG, I am so very sorry to hear. Please bear in mind that the floorplan is legacy code that will eventually be removed. So, please do not count on it. Now, please do the following: 1. Clear your Java cache 2. Go to http://www.universal-devices.com/99i/admin.jnlp ... this will install an icon on your desktop which you can use to launch the Admin Console Please let me know if this helps.
