traveler Posted September 2, 2012 Posted September 2, 2012 I have an Autelis Jandy control with the latest firmware through a wireless bridge I am trying to connect with the ISY through http GET. The variables are updating properly but I am getting a Network Module 2 : 404 not found error when trying to connect through http GET. I have been working with Autelis and have not found a solution. I have tried several combinations of slashes in the path without success. I have also tried to telnet to the controller and get the same error. THe strange thing is that I can get a status from the Autelis through an http GET resourse and I can send the path from the browser command line and perform an action (turn off pump etc.). I have attached a screen shot of the resource. I can't see this as a ISY issue since I cannot telnet the command either. The passphrase is correct. When it is not I get a different error. When I add a slash or /r CR I get a single H as the result and no action. Autelis recommended I contact you. I appreciate any suggestions.
Michel Kohanim Posted September 2, 2012 Posted September 2, 2012 Hello traveler, The only thing I can suggest is to check the EncodeURL checkbox and retry (this is what the browser does). Otherwise, we will have to contact Autelis and see what's going on. With kind regards, Michel
traveler Posted September 3, 2012 Author Posted September 3, 2012 Thanks I tried the encode option. Autellis manual gives the path without the preceding slash, but I tried it at their suggestion. I have tried all the combinations I can think of without success. It acts as though set.cgi is not there but if it wasn't, I would not be able to send a browser command line. I appreciate any other suggestions.
Michel Kohanim Posted September 3, 2012 Posted September 3, 2012 Hi traveler, Thank you. To recap: 1. You get a 404 .. this means resource not found 2. You can successfully initiate the command using a browser, correct? Two quick suggestions: 1. Can you copy paste the command you are using in your browser? 2. It would be of great help to use Wireshark to capture the traffic both from the browser as well as ISY. This way, we can compare the actual payload that works vs. what ISY is sending With kind regards, Michel
traveler Posted September 3, 2012 Author Posted September 3, 2012 I have it working. Attempting to follow your suggestion, I found the command line was not working but not giving an error. I rebooted the pool control and routers and it worked again. The resource then begin working with the slash as in the screen shot either encoded or not. The only thing I notice is that the browser returns 1 as expected but the resource returns capital H. Does not seem to affect the action however. Thanks for the help.
Michel Kohanim Posted September 3, 2012 Posted September 3, 2012 Hi traveler, Thanks for the update and I am glad you got it working. I wouldn't worry about the response. With kind regards, Michel
