Elk M1XEP formware 2.0?

BACKGROUND

 

I came across a press release from Elk regarding new firmware and recurring ($$$) services

It's important to note that for this to work, you must use Firmware 2.0 on the XEP - but the upgrade is non-reversable, and is only for the use of this service - don't upgrade otherwise.  Also there is a new version of ElkRP to support it.

 

 

I checked the Elk owners site. No 2.0 firmware yet. What will it break? Will it break the ISY Elk module?

Unfortunately, we do not know as we do not use the mentioned service.

 

Any brave volunteers?
