For some reason I can not adjust the local ramp rate for a switchlinc dimmer via 994i. I can adjust the brightness and LED level.. But the ramp rate seems to have no effect. I can adjust the ramp rate of my lamplinc just fine... Also I can adjust the ramp rate of the switchlinc dimmer directly on the switch by double tapping the set button... Just not via the isy. :/

 

Also the manual for the switchlinc dimmer (2477D by the way) says that it has a beep on key press option that can only be enabled via software or centre controler... Can the ISY enable this? I don't see an option for it.

What ISY firmware is being used?

 

The ISY does not currently support setting the Beep on button press.

I'm using 3.2.6. I tried upgrading to 3.3.4. hoping it was a bug but it did the same thing so i moved back to 3.2.6 since 3.3.4 is a release candidate. I have also tried doing a hard reset on the switch and using the restore option... still same thing :/

Ok.. So now it started working all of a sudden. Im not surr what I did.

Be careful about moving between 3.2.6 and 3.3.x. The 3.3.x images change the configuration file, making it incompatible with 3.2.6. You have to restore a good 3.2.6 backup when going back that far.
