Setting Locally

Hi All,

 

I am just trying this, never tried it before. What I am trying to do is get a single click to turn on the light 70% and double click 100%.

 

So I did this in my bathroom where I set the ON rate at 70% in the device. Then test doing on, fast on and it works perfect from the ISY.

 

When I go to the device the ISY reports that the device is on at 70% but it is outputting 100% and so is the device.

 

The device I am trying this with is a 2477D v.40

 

What am I doing wrong?

Sometimes the ISY doesn't get all the info about the levels communicated to it correctly. Try setting it at the device and then on the ISY, right-click and to Query. It will actually communicate with it and ask for the level.

Ok that worked but I don't want to set them locally I want to set them centrally.

What ISY firmware level?

 

Right click bathroom switch node, select Diagnostics | Query Insteon Engine. Now set On Level (applied locally) slider to the desired value. If already set at value move it so the ISY sends a different On Level (applied locally) value. Then set it back to the value you want.
