What is the second serial port on the ISY-26 used for? I'm hoping that I would be able to use it to connect another serial device to the Insteon PLC. Am I so lucky?

Hello SysIntegrated,

 

Unfortunately, you are not that lucky [yet]. The second serial port is used for Administrative purposes using a text based shell through Hyperterminal.

 

We do have plans to support other serial interfaces in the near future.
