neelahm Posted January 9, 2013 Share Posted January 9, 2013 I am have ISY 994i /IR Pro and I am trying to link 2477S switch to ISY. I noticed that using Link Management > Start Linking going into infinite loop. I reset (unplugged power of ISY) ISY but whenever I try to link the Linking dialog goes into infinite loop. See screenshot for ISY firmware info. I did link 2477D earlier without any issue but this new device is not getting discovered. On Phase Detect Beacon test, 2477S is LED is blinking RED that suggest that it is recognized over powerline. Any suggestion? Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
LeeG Posted January 9, 2013 Share Posted January 9, 2013 Blinking Red means it is on the same phase as the first Dual Band device. What does Help | About show for Firmware and UI.? Run Tools | Diagnostics | Event Viewer at LEVEL 3. Use New INSTEON Device, enter Insteon Address, Name of choice and leave Device Type set to default Auto Discover.
