Guys I have my https:/my.ip.address.com saved on my droid's homepage. It works great but even with the setting on my droid to not remember passwords it still doesn't ask for a password. I can clear the cache, history, cookies, form data, location, access and passwords and restart and it will ask for my username and password. Then with "remember passwords unchecked" the next time I open the https site it does remember the password. Since this also controls my Elk M1 Gold I'm worried that losing my phone could be a breach in security. How can I get this page to not remember my password every time I access it? Thoughts? Thanks!

I am just getting to know my ISY a little better after having installed my first insteon devices and now starting to look at automating a few things. In configuration I set the time to 24hr, which results in a nice 07:nn sunrise and 18:nn sunset in the main screen. But, when I go to programming it looks like everything regarding time is still am/pm. Did I miss something? Or is the clock display change just a recent standalone change, that didn't carry over into all time aspects? No big issue obviously, just a few extra steps to program.

Hey the following programs are used as a panic alarm and also to turn lots of lights on. The 2nd program is used to turn the panic off and all the lights. The problem is not all the lights turn on and off. Everytime I test this different lights come on and off...it's not the same ones every time. How do I fix this? If I want remotelinc button A to turn a light on and B to turn it off I can use a scene with the remotelinc buttons and the light or I can just do it via a program...what's the difference? Thanks!

I'm having problems with my program below. It isn't only working after sunset and before sunrise. It works 24 hours per day....what do I have wrong? Do ISY programs follow the associative property like in algebra (the order of the and & or doesn't matter)? I have created 4 scenes of which 2 work properly and 2 do not. All individual switches can be controlled from the ISY device screen with 100 % accuracy. The scenes that work are as follows: 2 switchlinc dimmers in a logical 3way 3 switchlinc dimmers in a logical 4way The scenes that do not work are as follows: 2 switchlinc relays in a logical 3way 2 switchlinc 6 button in a logical 3way. Any idea if Georgia Power will allow me to interface to my power meter with the new 994iZS? I've been trying to find documents etc on both sides to see if this is possible or just how it works, but haven't had any luck finding anything with any meat on it. I see that on Smarthome it has a red note that the device must be provisioned by the utility, but I am not sure just what that entails. I'd like to give it a try if its possible.

Hi All, I have a question....I've just finished the initial setup on my ISY99, I'm coming from a Houselinc / Smartlinc setup so I cleared all links and re-linked everything fresh. Everything seems to be operating fine I've just noticed some oddities when viewing the system in the admin. Some of my scenes that have Remotelincs or Remotelinc 2 controllers show odd current states. For instance I have a Dining Area Scene that shows: Dining Lights: Off RemoteLinc 1 Dining Lights: On RemoteLinc 2 Dining Lights: 49% A similar thing occurs with my EZX10RF buttons. I can't get these bulbs to turn on with the on level and ramp rate configured in the scene. I build a scene as usual in the admin console, and set the on levels and ramp rates of all of the responders. When I test the scene in the admin console, the bulbs turn on with the configured level and rate, but if I trigger the scene from a controller, they always turn on instantly at 100%. Other responders in the scene work as expected. I've just upgraded my 99i to 3.3.3 and deleted and re-linked the bulbs but am getting the same results. Anybody had luck getting these to work or have any suggestions on how to troubleshoot?

hi, when i make changes to my 2441th on the thermostat, the changes dont make it to the isy unless i query it. it does work the other way though. i am currently using 3.3.2, but have tried 3.3.3 and 3.2.6. 3.2.6 would only add i node of the thermostat, so i didnt test past that. 3.3.3 doesnt display any information about the thermostat in the isy. any help is appreciated.

I just installed a 2477SA1 240v load controller that shows in ISY as v.41. It shows up fine in the ISY, but any time I try to issue it a command it immediately changes status to "Could not communicate" with the exclamation point. If I query it, it immediately changes back, but the same things happens whenever issuing a command - and the command is never executed. What is the most efficient method to dim a scene after its been turned on? I have a scene with 3 controllers that comes on at dusk at a preset level, dims at 8 pm, and turns off at 11:00 pm. The scene is controlled by a program. What's best, having a program dim a device within the scene at 9pm or creating a new scene to run at 9 pm with a preset dim level?

Hello, I have been looking at jumping into an INSTEON control project.. My background is component electronics and computer network architecture. Basically from the transistor beta theory all the way up to 555 Timer logic and onto industrial PLCs with network control..... so this seems easy enough right? My idea is to design my device to interface with a Serial PLM and then use that to send status messages to an ISY994i the status messages would be contained in the user data block outlined in the extended command messages in the developers guide.. I have had 2 2477SA2 Controllers installed for several months. Both are on the same circuit and control separate pool motors. Both are controlled by an ISY99i. Motor Controller #1 will not turn off from either the ISY or the On/Off button on the controller. I did a restore device (no result), removed the device and installed (no install communication issues). I still could not turn off the motor. I then did a factory reset. I noticed that I did not hear any audible beeps and noted that both the controller light and the load active light are not on. Hi all, I love the capabilities of the ISY and have done quite a bit already with it at home. However there is still one particular usecase that I was unable to solve. I am hoping that someone here can help me. I try to be able to turn a light or device on and off from a) a button from a KPL my x10 remote c) MobiLinc - which in the end uses the REST interface from the ISY d) whenever anyone is turning the module on/off the respective button on my KPL should correctly light up. I have been having problems with a 4 year PL. I ordered a new one (2413S V1.7) but am having problems getting it to work. I have tried swaping then rebooting ISY... unpluging ISY, then swaping PLM'S then plugging in , restore modem, but still not able to get the new PLM to work.. How can I get the new PLM to work???? Hi all, is there a feature available with which I can record my light behavior over a period of time and then replay it later for instance for when I am going on vacation ? I have it programmed now to behave similar to what we usually do for vacation times, but I think it would be even cooler if I could record it and play it back because this would ACTUALLY reflect the past behavior. I have an 8 button KPL at my front door at my lake house. I use button B as a way to tell my ISY if I am there or not. When I leave I usually turn on button B but when I left yesterday I forgot to. Is there a way from the admin console to turn it on? When I look at it from the main tab I see the current state of off but don't see a way to turn it on. Thanks

has anyone had any experience with working with weatherbug Light values. trying to see if i can write a rainy day program that will turn lights on earlier then already programmed, if it is darker because it cloudy or overcast. the problem i am seeing is that values i see are inconsistent. sometimes it was just a # like 18.6 and the light rate is a %h. lately both light and light rate in %h. like right now it list light as 22.9%h and light rate as -12.3%h. is there anywhere a better description on the light aspect of weatherbug? thanks, barry
