Thanks kewashi I have mine setup kind of like I want. I want to use this for a Magic Mirror to display the status of the house. I might play around with the icons some to make it more what I want but now that it's hard to gather materials I feel I want to start to build my Magic Mirror. Now that I have this setup I am wondering what the update path will be because so far I have had to delete the folder and start over each time you sent out an update kewashi? Any plans for incorporating a RSTP feed from a camera as a tile?

The controls seem to be working well. I would like to see an object instead of a tile as what you place on the screen but I don't think I would represent the normal customer base. I don't see myself using a computer or tablet to control devices I would like it more of a display as to what condition the devices are set at. I'm sure your program could do that but it looks like it would take some coding that I can not do. When you mess with the tile settings it seems to me when you change things not everything gets scaled unless I am doing things wrong.

That fixed it for me, at first I was using https for house panel then i realized that. I guess using http for Polisy then having to be told to use https has really mixed me up.. I will play around with it over the weekend. Thank you both for the assistance!

I don't know what TLS is so my machine should be set at default settings. A quick search of TLS seems to be related to mail servers which I do not have anything setup for, I have ISY send me text. I do have the network module with it tied into Alexa working well.

The "Show Info" and "Options" only have the default items. In the log file after it list all the info for my ISY the below is what is shown. I was able to get it updated and get my ISY authorized like I did before but I still can not see any devices from my ISY. When i go into edit mode and I select only ISY there are no devices listed.

I can not get this to start I tried it on a pi and on my polysi. Once it is installed is there something I need to do in polyglot? The port 3080 says connection refused. I'm not very computer programming savvy and not real good with the linux command prompt but is there a way to run it as a "program" on the pi machine?

Wanting to control scene when telling Alexa to play or pause movie
tazman replied to andrew77's topic in Amazon Echo
You could create a routine in Alexa that when you speak pause or play however you want to phrase it Alexa also controls your ligths. If you have an ISY with the IR input you can also program IR commands to do what ever you want with ISY it will work both ways. -
So @Michel Kohanim is the nodeserver pricing expected to be a one time fee?
-
Thanks that is good information right there and reminds me of ISY with a barely long enough internet cable for me to add my lock after my last update

I have been reading all I can on here. I guess I have no need for the Wifi since it seems it's use is just for connecting to the router but I'm still wondering if i will need the bluetooth in the future. I'm sure I would be able to add the bluetooth in the future if I need it. I am also a little concerned about what I have been reading about problems where I would have to remote in using putty which I had to Google to find out what it was. I guess my biggest concern is getting in over my head with this but with the help from the forums I hope I can get through it.

Hello @Michel Kohanim , thank you for the response. I am fine waiting for the Pro to come back in stock and would even be fine placing the order now and have it ship when it is in. I'm not even sure what kind of use I will get out of it but I regret not getting the top of the line ISY even though I did not need it in the beginning and luckily UD made it possible to upgrade the unit I did get. Any timeline when the Pro might be back in stock?
-
It's unfortunate we have to wait until it's in stock again to order. I will keep checking on it's availability.

Thank you asbril for.the information! I know I did not realize the potential of ISY until I had it to mess around with. I guess I have to wait until the Polisy Pro is available anyway because I bought the basic ISY and I regret not buying the top of the line unit and ended up upgrading it after the fact. Does anyone know when the Pro will be available for purchase?

Hello I have an ISY 994 with IR and Zwave. My house is mostly Insteon, one motion Zwave switch and a Zwave lock.I use an Alexa to integrate some Wifi devices into ISY and I have a Harmony remote I use the IR functions to give me control of some the electrical items. I also have a Ramba vacuum Blink cameras and an Eufy doorbell. I am having trouble understanding what the Polisy with the nodeservers would do for me. Is there a cost for the different nodeservers? I have read on here to try and understand what all of this does but I have been unable to find something that makes it click for me. I only use a couple of programs so I know I don't have my house set to it's full potential but use it as a hobby and for my own enjoyment. Thank you Tom

I'm just learning more now, I was just using mostly linked devices before and now moving on to more automation type stuff. Making the scene did work. I was a little lost at first that the scene was only in the device list. Tom

OK thanks I will give that a try. Are we unable to operate one of the secondary Keypad buttons remotely and if you operate a switch that is not a primary controller remotely it will not operate it's scene? I have all Insteon switches in my house and everything works good I just have not done much with the remote access except have Alexa turn on lights and put some lights on my harmony remote. Tom

I'm having some trouble with the smaller Keypad buttons. Accessing ISY through the admin console or through the Web portal I am unable to toggle the A-D switches on and off. I made sure they are set to toggle mode and none are grouped together. I also ran into a problem with programs when I try to use a button as a visual que on what state something is in. Setting a button to "on 0 / off 0 (back light level)" it will turn other button lights off and when I set it to "on 15 / off 0 (back light level)" it will turn the button plus the other buttons back on that were on. I have the back light on all my keypads turned off and they just light up for what is turned on. Thanks for any input. Tom

I do have the Wifi adapter and I have their app for my phone but I'm not seeing other ways of integrating it into my home automation stuff. It seems like it is compatible with smart things but I would hat to have to buy one of those hubs just for that. Thanks Tom

Hello, does anybody know of a way to control a Schlage Sense lock? I have ISY, Echo and Harmony remote with hub all working together. I have the Schlage skill with Alexa but Alexa can not unlock the lock at this time. Any information people can pass on would be appreciated. Thanks Tom
