Rebooting did not fix the error. Still the exact same thing. Any ideas, anyone?

I'm trying to backup my ISY994, and I keep getting this error: [Could Not Retrieve File /CONF/NET/32.RES] Can anyone help me?? Thanks!

Thanks so much for your help! I didn't realize a program could be disabled and still be called for and run from another program. Disabling Program A did the trick! Thanks again.
-
Yes, I have done this, but then program A runs WITHOUT program B, also, because program A is set to run at a specific time. I only want program A to run WITH or immediately AFTER program B. Thanks for your input.

I have a program (let's call it Program A) which I want to run ONLY if Program B is called to run first. Program A should run immediately when Program B is called to run. Program B will only be called to run manually (no IF statements). Can anyone help me? What do I put in Program A to verify Program B has/is run before Program A starts. Hope that all made sense! Thanks.

Definitely interested in anything that will work!

Sounds like there IS NOT a straightforward way to integrate NEST thermostats. Still interested, if anyone has a "not straightforward" way to do so--that I can understand! Thanks, everyone!

I am trying to integrate my Nest (now Trane) thermostats into my ISY9941. I have read numerous postings about it, almost all of which say to use Polygot, but I just can't get it into my head. Does anyone have a concise list of instructions on exactly what to do? I would really like to use the ISY to control the thermostats while it is controlling other devices in my home. I thank you in advance!

I think I found it, thanks to your awesome help on searching through all my programs for "Notification." It was a stray program that I don't even know what it did. It didn't make any sense. I deleted it, and hopefully all will be well now! Thanks again!

Thanks for your help. I will try as soon as I can.

Leak Wet Alert - Water Heaters - [ID 0008][Parent 0001] If 'Siren, Chime, Relay / Water Heater Leak .2 - Wet' Status is On Then Send Notification to 'Craig Sedgwick - text' content 'Wet Sensor Alert' Else - No Actions - (To add one, press 'Action')

Never mind! Figured it out. I had a repeat every 10 minutes in a program. However, that doesn't explain why the message comes once a day.

I have a leak sensor linked to a siren, to tell me if there is water in the water heater area. It also announces on Alexa that there is a leak. Also, it sends me a text message if there is a leak. All this works; however, I continue to get text messages, even without a leak. The messages came every single day at 1:00 a.m., never fail, but the siren did not sound and Alexa did not announce. Kind of annoying, but once a day was tolerable. Now, after some adjustments to the links, I am getting the text messages promptly every 10 minutes. Still no siren or Alexa announcement. Any suggestions? Thanks, Craig

Just a question about the Open/Close device (on the unit itself it is listed as 2843-222, but it links to the ISY as a 2421): What is the Delay (immediate or delayed) mode? How would you use it? What about retries? How does this work? I'm not sure how these work. Thanks!

Thanks, Brian H. I appreciate you insight and help.

Thanks for your help. I must say, the owner's manual is not very helpful for using this device with the isy994i. I will mess around with it and see if I can come up with something useful for my home. Again--thanks!

I finally decided to get my Siren (2868-222) integrated into my system. I have it added and ready to go. Can anyone give me information on the six different "nodes" of the Siren, i.e. 1(Siren Trigger Home), 2(Siren Arm Home; 3(Siren Trigger Away); 4(Siren Arm Away); 5(Siren Trigger Both; and 6(Siren Arm Both? How are they used differently? Can you give me an example of why you would use each one, all of them, or what? I'm really confused on this. Thanks! Craig

And of course--that did it! Sorry. At almost 70 years old, I'm lucky to have this stuff working at all. I appreciate everyone's help!

Here are the other screen shots: This next one is the device itself, and it shows .1 seconds, but I don't know how to change that permanently. Every other screen that has anything to do with this device shows 2.0 seconds.

Hi. I have two 6-button keypads and a mini remote, all linked and controlling a light and fan in a bedroom. I have everything linked, and all works well, except for one thing: The keypad that has the load to the light connected to it, will not dim the light slowly like the other keypad and the mini remote do. I have checked to make sure all the setting are at 2.0 seconds, but it dims it at .1 seconds. The 2nd keypad and mini remote both dim at 2.0 seconds, as set. I've checked the settings of each keypad and the settings of the scene. Everything is set at 2.0 seconds. Any ideas? Thanks!

I programmed this tonight, and it works perfectly (in the night). I'll try it tomorrow during the day and see if it responds correctly, but I think it will. One thing I had to change: In the main program, the following works great to turn the INDOOR lights ON, but they wouldn't go OFF when commanded. I simply added the indoor lights to the OFF program's THEN and ELSE statements. It works! then ... do whatever to turn on the inside lights... Run Program OutdoorEventLightsON (If) I"m happy! Thanks again!

Wow! Great suggestions! I really appreciate all the help and feedback. I will try to program this today. I never would have figured it out on my own. THANKS!

You may be right about the overthinking, since I've been trying to figure this out for a year now! I'll try to break it down further. Any other suggestions are surely welcome. Thanks for your help!

I am having trouble setting up a program (or programs?) to accomplish a task. Here is the scenario: We host an event at our home once or twice each week, at different times--on different days. We turn it on with our voice command. The problem is that I ALWAYS want the inside lights to come on, but only want the outside lights to come on when it is sunset or later. Then, when the event is over, I want to voice command it to turn off; again the inside lights would ALWAYS turn off, but the outside lights would come on only if it's after sunset, or stay off if it is not. I hope that makes sense. How do you make turning off a scene control turning things on or off? I know how to do the Alexa voice commands, but I can't get it through my head how to do the other stuff. Can anyone help me? Thanks!
