  1. Support for Somfy Zigbee Shade Motors.
  2. Thanks. That worked and it did take a while...helped to do some yard work to help me "wait". Steve
  3. The link to enable PG3x doesn't work. The only thing that shows on the screen is the following message: This XML file does not appear to have any style information associated with it. The document tree is shown below.
  4. I am trying to upgrade to PG3x. I followed the instructions to use Admin Console to upgrade PG3 to PG3x. I am running 5.6.2 on Polisy and stuck means that PG3 only updates to 3.1.23 Upgrade Packages will not update further. I run on Windows 10.
  5. I'm stuck on v 3.1.23 and the log had the following message. 6/23/2023, 18:42:05 [pg3] info: ***************************************** 6/23/2023, 18:42:05 [pg3] info: Latest PG3 version available is 3.1.23_1 6/23/2023, 18:42:05 [pg3] info: ***************************************** Steve
  6. My Portal continuously disconnects. I reviewed the error log (attached) and get error -7066 consistently when the disconnects happen, I cannot find out what the -7066 error is about. No other device on my has disconnect errors. I attached a snippet from y error log that shows these errors. What is going on? Steve
  7. Although time will tell, Alexa seemed to work better after disabling the Mobilinc skill. I subsequently also removed and re-added all of my ISY smarthome scenes (really programs) using the Alexa app. sjenkens: I use both but most often Alexa. However I find GH is much more reliable but also more verbose with an annoying response every time I issue a smarthome command. larryllix: I also have weird issues similar to those you describe. I find they come and go... In any case these issues make me wish that I could purchase an in-house device with which I could trigger my smarthome voice controlled apps that would be easy to set up. +95% of my use of GH and Alexa is for this purpose. Does such a thing exist? I'll give another update about my slow Alexa in a week or so. Steve
  8. I just noticed that I have both the Mobilinc skill and the ISY Optimized for Smart Home V3 skill enabled. I recently switched from Mobilinc to the ISY portal. I just disabled the Mobilinc skill and will see if that helps.
  9. Over the past month or two our Alexa devices do not respond to voice commands as quickly as Google Home. I only execute programs using Alexa and Google devices. Google usually completes a command within 5 seconds. Alexa always takes at least 10 to 20 seconds and often does not complete a command. They both run on the same wireless Google WiFi network. Why would this be?
  10. Is on their list...
  11. MrBill - Support told me that the wiki is out of date on the 16 GB and that up to 32 GB is supported. Steve
  12. Thanks, Michel. I have a 32 GB and will be replacing it with a 16GB Memory Cards (SanDisk MicroSD Ultra) rated A1. For future reference, are there error messages or is there another way I can be notified earlier that my SD card is potentially going bad (other than irregular system behavior)? Also, in the SD card replacement instructions it says that "Please note: If your performing this whole process because of a corrupted SD card, a good backup is considered one that was completed successfully before the SD card got corrupted". I have taken a successful backup today that ran to the end without displaying any error on my screen. Is it OK to use that backup when restoring the card? The reason I ask is that I assume the zip file from the Backup ISY process contains my device information...I've recently installed many devices and scenes since the previous backup that I don't want to spend days getting them back. Thanks again. Steve
  13. Thanks Larry...I'll re-post.
  14. Exact one I ordered! Is a 16GB SanDisk MicroSD Ultra, 98MB/s Speed Class 10, SDHC, rated A1. I think my current 32 GB was also a SanDisk Ultra but can't remember for sure.

  16. I replaced it in April 2019...is that normal wear and tear? Steve
  17. I'm getting the message below in the event viewer. What does it mean and what's the best way to fix it? Wed 02/24/2021 05:06:15 PM : [FileOpen ] Open failed for [/LOG/ERRORA.LOG] (a) Thanks, Steve
  18. I did put FilterLincs on both of my Chamberlains (based on your comments in previous topics) so hopefully that will help too. Thanks.
  19. larryllix - I forgot to mention that I also replace the original ioLinc and the new one responds much faster and so far has always been reliable. So I wonder if the old ioLinc was having internal problems. I've noticed that one additional ioLincs I have is having connection problems when I start the Admin Console. Is that more a sign of a comm problem or of a slowly dying ioLinc?
  20. Whitehambone - Thanks. I tried using similar counters when the ioLinc was in Latching mode, but the problem continued. So, I went back to square one and re-read the information I could find on the ioLinc. After reacquainting myself with the ioLinc and having it sink into my old brain I think that I figured out my issue. I believe my past problem was created by sending an On command to the ioLinc with the ioLinc in latching mode. This would close the relay and trigger the chime until I sent an Off to the ioLinc which would open the relay. It looks like the ioLinc would often not receive the Off commands I sent and therefore the relay remained closed after my program ended which left the relay closed and allowed the runaway chiming . In addition if figured out that my original programs had Wait and Repeat commends that sometimes shut down the original programs early so that the Off command was never sent to the ioLinc. To remedy this issue, I set the ioLinc to be in Momentary A mode and broke the Wait and Repeat commands into separate programs. I think these changes will prevent the relay from staying closed and the resulting runaway chimes. It's worked for a day...we'll see. My original question was asking for a way to detect if the relay was left closed causing runaway chiming. But I do not think it’s necessary now. Thanks for your reply… Steve
  21. Hi - I am triggering a Chime using an ioLinc relay to tell me which of 4 different activities happen (e.g. door opened = 1 ring, mail delivered = 2 rings, etc.). In the past I used a program that contained a Repeat statement to trigger the Chime a specific number of times. The Relay was set for Latching: Continuous. But sometimes the Chimes would not stop. I figured a momentary Relay would be better in this case and would stop the runaway chimes. So I changed the Relay to use Momentary A triggered by On. Would there be a way for me to count each time the Relay was triggered (and the chime rings) if it would continue to run beyond a maximum number times? I would like to have a fail safe program count the number of times the Relay was triggered so that I could explicitly stop the runaway triggering of the Relay (and resulting chimes). I'm hoping that would not happen now that I moved to a Momentary A Relay setting...but just in case I'd like to not have the chime keep on going! Thanks, Steve
  22. Thanks Wes. I discovered that my portal's preferred ISY was not set up. Once I changed that, Mobilinc Pro connected and quickly synced. Sorry to have bothered you... Take care, Steve
  23. Yes... The password field changed to a blank when I took a screen shot on the iPhone. I'm not sure why "Remote ISY" appears in that field vs. the actual UUID. I assumed that is the way the program worked.
  24. I needed to move to the ISY Portal and have tried to set up IOS version of Mobilinc Pro on my iPhone XS Max (software version 13.7) to use that portal. However It has been unsuccessful. I worked with ISY support who have told me that my ISY Portal is set up properly. The Mobilinc app gives me the message "Mobilinc Disconnected Attempting to reconnect to ISY". It also gives messages that it cannot connect and that I should change the settings. I have rebooted my modem, rebooted my router, rebooted my ISY, and rebooted my iPhone - once all at the same time and some devices several times more - but that has not fixed the issue. I can access the portal (https://my.isy.io/index.htm) via a browser on my iPhone. I can use it with the my.isy.io link functions. I attached several screens of the iPhone Mobilinc app's Controller settings I entered to change from using the Mobilinc portal to using the ISY Portal plus some resulting messages. (I've re-entered the password 3-4 times to make sure it was correct.) How can this be resolved? I was tempted to uninstall and reinstall Mobilinc Pro but the last time I had to do this for a similar problem I lost a lot of items that took me a good half day to recover...so that is my absolute last last resort. Thanks, Steve
  25. I've been fighting this much of the afternoon and evening and it suddenly started to work. My iPhone Mobilinc and Alexa devices didn't work either. Now that it works I found out that I've lost many of the Scenes and all the Programs that I had on my Dashboard. This may have happened when I thought I had to reconnect and so re-registered Mobilinc with the ISY. Now I have to spend more hours trying to set up my Mobilinc Dashboard. (Is there a way to get this original Dashboard configuration back?) What is the best way we could get a notification the next time something like this happens so that we don't spend hours trying to fix an issue that's not our issue? Thanks, Steve
