Hey Rand, you never did let me know how you were doing from my email. Is all going well, I hope it is all well.

The problem I am having right now is that it turns on even in the daytime and it does not turn off for some reason.

I don't have anything up to this point. 1. I would like it to work from dusk to dawn. 2. Isn't controlling from the ISY best? Not familiar with #3. 4. I have a front light with sensor? Not sure what you mean. 5. Insteon. Configured? 6. One light at this time as my other light has no insteon switch to it because it has only two wires. I need to get a neutral run to it so at this time one light. I don't care how many programs it takes, as long as it works. Thanks for helping. I feel so inferior when I come on here because my skills at this are very low compared to all of you on here. I have not had time to practice but hopefully will get better at it. Thanks again.

Yeah, what is the best way to program it? Is the program that is used on that page the best way? I don't want the one sensor interfering with the other.

I just posted the same thing on my topic. I have the same question but I am clueless compared to you guys. I am so jealous that you guys know how to do this with as much ease as you do. I have one light with 2 sensors that I need to use to make it work right.

I have just purchased 2 motion sensors for another location. They both need to be used for one light because I need motion sensing from more angles than one can give me. I will use both of these sensors for another light at a later time but for now both will be running one light. It has been a long time since I have done this again and was needing some advice. I just want them to turn on the one light and keep it on for about 5 minutes. Nothing fancy at this point. I can't remember what the best steps would be. Would anyone care to give me some help? I have programmed the isy for a lot of things but not anything very big. What extra things will the isy give me instead of just programming through the thermostat? I guess I can always get help too

If I have an Isy99 do I need to buy the 7 day programmable thermostat? I want 7 day capability so I was wanting to know for sure. Someone said someplace that the cheaper one is all you need if you have an isy. How complicated is it to program with the isy? Thanks.

The sky is the limit is what it sounds like. Cool. If I set up 8 light zones to be turned on can I turn them off with the same button that turned them on. For instance bedroom button is pushed - on comes the light and if I hit it again will it shut off?

A person could use the insteon timer also could they not and then program it to come on for 10 minutes a day like you do?

How would a person typically set up an 8 button keypad? Would you be so kind as to give an example? Thanks.

When you say responder you mean? Also, when I get the keypad it will be able to turn on and off the lights from that single key correct? I feel so stupid sometimes when I work with this new stuff and you guys seem to know it all

I am going to be getting my first 8 button keypad and can't find a topic on installation. I am sure it is out there but must be doing something wrong on the search. How much different is it to set up than a remote linc etc? Thanks guys.

Is there a way I can control when lights go on and off in the house when we are on vacation automatically to simulate that we are home?

I have a V2 sensor.

To get the motion sensor to be more sensitive to darkness so that it will turn on sooner for people walking past what do I need to adjust? Thanks.

Oh, I guess I misunderstood. He just mentions setting the set options etc.

What number should I set the darkness to? It is at 35 right now.
