My isy was in the drop down. That was my big question. I thought the isy is what I should select but I had a brain meltdown.

When I go to portforward where will I find the ISY? Then when I get in to port forward, do I use the computer in the dropdown or the isy? I think the isy but have 2nd thoughts?

With my MS what is the best way to decrease sensitivity? It goes a little too far and gives to many false alarms. I also want my MS to respond quicker after it has been activated and the light is on. After it shuts off it takes too long for it to be responsive again. I really appreciate the help. Thanks.

I have been at this for about 4 days now and reading your stuff makes me sick. I want to be able to do what you are doing but I have a LOT to learn. Would you come over and help me out?

What would you do with pin 4? I just don't know.

I have a question on jumper settings. 1. I will keep as default, on one wire. 2. It is outside so the lights don't bother me so I will keep that default (unless the batteries will last longer with it on two pins) 3. I want it to work in the daytime also because I am using it as an alert to company coming, so default it stays. 4. I don't understand this one. Feel kind of stupid but could someone explain it to me. What automatic countdown? Do I need it on or off? Default or two pins. 5. Do I have this on two pins or not. I am using the isy so you tell me. I am asking all this because my programs work with the sensor but they work and then don't work for a short period of time then they work again. Anyone? Thanks.

What are the most common settings you have found to work with your skylink motion sensor? Can anyone guide me? I am just learning and did my triggerlinc with a little help but could use a little more now. Thanks

When I talk to my power company how do I ask them what I am actually wanting?

Is there anything other than flex your power out there? To reset the PLM I just hold down the reset button, right? Smarthome will make it right for me or I will put up a stink. You don't sell used merchandise and claim it as new. That is a no no.

I don't care. It was returned and used. That does not make it right.

They had flexpower on this for checking power usage. It sounds cool. How could I get something like this?

Now as I am going into it I have to click ok 45 times to get in because of a communication error. I am going to leave the info on there so I have proof when I contact Smarthome and chew on them a little. I want an exchange or a good amount off of this price.

I DID NOT PAY for a used isy. I bought it from Smarthome. IF THEY think that I will pay that much for something used they can go someplace. I am now pretty mad about all this. No wonder it would not link up right away.

I moved to PLM to a different location and it works now. It is in a VERY inconvenient place at the moment but it works. I may try another location later. My question. When I got it started it has a list of different devices under a category under network and then my lighting. It has a name of people like Tristans playroom, Melissas room etc. When it started it also said that it could not locate all of those places. Is this normal or is this an isy that belonged to someone else?

I understand case sensitive. I have reset it many times. My network has several things on it and this is the only one that it has a hard time picking up. It may take 10 -15 minutes for it to recognize the isy on my net.

It says a username and password are being requested at 192.etc. Then it says The site says:"l"

I tried it but to no avail. When I go through the icon I get a screen and I put in the password but it does not work. It is getting frustrating. What am I doing wrong?[/url]
