  1. I setup a ISY Scene with two Togglelinc (2466SW) light switches "Garage Outdoor Lights" and "Back Porch Outdoor Light" as Responders. I then wrote two simple programs (PROGRAM ON & PROGRAM OFF) to turn both lights on/off in sync with each other if either switch is manually turned off or on: PROGRAM OFF******************************************** If Control 'Back Porch Outdoor Light' is switched Off Or Control 'Garage Outdoor Lights' is switched Off Then Set Scene 'Back Yard Light Control' Off Else - No Actions - (To add one, press 'Action') PROGRAM ON *********************************************** If Control 'Back Porch Outdoor Light' is switched On Or Control 'Garage Outdoor Lights' is switched On Then Set Scene 'Back Yard Light Control' On Else - No Actions - (To add one, press 'Action') I was puzzled when this didn't work. What am I not understanding ?
  2. Thank you
  3. I've noticed people talking about the "Set Scene on/off" command in if/then/else programs but I only see the "Adjust Scene" command. How do you find the "Set Scene" command ?
  4. Well I think I have found my communication problem. My phase coupler (Signa Linc 4826A) plugged in on my dryer receptacle seems to be dead. .There's no leds lit up any more....
  5. That's a good point, I have seen signs of communication problems, with the several devices, but i's like chasing a ghost. The two Togglelinc switches are on very different circuits, one light switch is in the backyard garage, the other switch is in the back porch (`~25 feet away). There are two circuits in the garage, so I could easily couple the two phases with plug-in range extenders. I'll also plug in a range extender where my ghost appears from time to time.
  6. I notice when I look at the scene in Admin console, the status (on/off) of the switches is not current. I have to run a Query on Scene to get an update on switch status. I also notice that turning the scene on/off, the switches work together (on/off) as desired. I just can't use the physical switches to work together.
  7. The ramp rate is greyed out because they are togglelinc switches not dimmers
  8. I'm not sure how the switches could be wired incorrectly. The original switches were simply switching power on/off to their respective lights. The Insteon red wire switches power to the light and the black wire feeds power to the switch, as before. The only change in wiring was to tie the Insteon white wire to the neutral wire returning to the panel.
  9. Yes both addresses are listed as xx.xx.xx 1 and Succeded
  10. Yes, the addresses of the two switches show up
  11. Yes I did try both switches as controller but that gave me 3-way switching. Both lights didn't come on together.
  12. I have two 2466SW each controlling a light load (A. & B.) I want to have one switch (B.) follow the action of the other switch (A.). That is, when A. is switched ON, B. is switched ON. I created a Scene with switch A. as controller and B. as responder, but B. is not following A. What am I doing wrong ?.
  13. Thank you all. It appears that some have had success, so I'll give it a try.
  14. I was thinking of installing Insteon light switching for rear house entrance and garage. My problem is I currently have Homelink in my car which controls these lights using RF controlled switches. I would like to retain the use of Homelink, and I thought possibly a EZX10RF could receive the Homelink RF commands and send out Insteon commands to my new Insteon switches.. Do I understand what the EZX10RF can do ?
  15. I finally found that I either inadvertently corrupted the ISY web server home page or it wasn't there to begin with. I picked on "Use Default" on ISY web server configuration tab and all is good. Thank you for all your help.
  16. It looks like I.m looking for the web server code for UDAJAX, which is loaded /user/web directory in ISY. I guess it's not loaded in my ISY994i.
  17. Yes, I do understand what you are saying, but for clarification, I do require the port no. to get even local LAN access. But, after getting the ISY Authentication user id/password screen I just get a message "/USER/WEB/iTouch.htm not found". I should know this but, I don't understand how I get to the ISY web page. Sorry for the dumb questions
  18. The reason I'm a little concerned is when I try to browse to the ISY My Lighting web site, I get asked for a user & password but then the web page cannot be found. I'm using the ip address:port 192.168.0.xx:xxxx
  19. I recently upgraded my ISY99i to ISY994i. I entered all the network addresses and such, same as the old ISY. I retained all the port forwarding configuration the same in my routers because I used the same IP address and Port number. For some reason the new ISY is not happy, but I'm at a loss as to why.
  20. I think you got it right, about the inhibit state. After pounding away on the keyboard for a few hours, I finally remembered how to connect to the PLM and then to EZFlora. I turned Inhibit Off and all is fine (i think it's too late now) I'll check it more rigorously tommorow. Thank you so much, this problem was driving me nuts.
  21. Well I ran an electrical extension cord from the same receptacle that the EZFlora is plugged into and ran the extension cord to the PLM. With both PLM and EZFlora on the same cicuit, the on/off commands still are not working reliably Diagnostics Level 3: First attempt didn't work Wed 09/23/2015 03:28:15 PM : [iNST-TX-I1 ] 02 62 1E 7A 55 0F 40 00 Wed 09/23/2015 03:28:15 PM : [iNST-ACK ] 02 62 1E.7A.55 0F 40 00 06 (00) Wed 09/23/2015 03:28:15 PM : [iNST-SRX ] 02 50 1E.7A.55 13.20.08 2B 40 00 (00) Wed 09/23/2015 03:28:15 PM : [std-Direct Ack] 1E.7A.55-->ISY/PLM Group=0, Max Hops=3, Hops Left=2 Second attempt worked Wed 09/23/2015 03:28:18 PM : [iNST-TX-I1 ] 02 62 1E 7A 55 0F 40 00 Wed 09/23/2015 03:28:18 PM : [iNST-ACK ] 02 62 1E.7A.55 0F 40 00 06 (00) Wed 09/23/2015 03:28:18 PM : [iNST-SRX ] 02 50 1E.7A.55 13.20.08 2B 40 80 (80) Wed 09/23/2015 03:28:18 PM : [std-Direct Ack] 1E.7A.55-->ISY/PLM Group=0, Max Hops=3, Hops Left=2 Wed 09/23/2015 03:28:18 PM : [ 1E 7A 55 1] ST 255 My Isy99i has firmware 3.3.10 and UI 4.2.30
  22. I'm currently running isy99i @ firmware 3.3.10 I have a small house and both modules are in the basement, perhaps within 20 ft.
  23. I have a Isy99i (recently ordered a isy994i) running firmware 3.3.10, and EzFlora v28. I'm really struggling with this device. I used "add an Insteon device" and I got 8 different Irrigation zones (which was good). The first sign of trouble is when I select a zone and send the "ON" command it will not turn on. It takes multiple tries of "ON" then "OFF" commands on a zone before it finally changes state It goes without saying that my Irrigation Program (which turns on each zone on in sequence) does not work either.
  24. Yes, I agree. I have a simple surge protector on this circuit with no problem. The fancier power bar was the culprit. Stopped the Insteon signals from traveling any further down the circuit.
  25. Goddamn power bar. Something you said about communication problems rang a bell with me because I indeed was getting ISY warnings about "loose connections". This has been a periodic problem in this house circuit for many years, so I decided to chase it down. I tore apart the light switch boxes in this circuit where the Insteon modules "loose connection" message was showing, several times with no avail. For a time the "loose connections" went away, but then came back. After spending a frustrating day on this I slept on it, and woke up this morning thinking about "what about the power bar" I have plugged into this circuit. All modules downstream of where this powerbar was plugged in where reporting communication problems. Eureka !!!! Problem solved. What a pain this was !!!!! Lesson learned, very painfully.
