Hi Denis, Can you please call our support line? 818 631 0333 Thank you, Rand

When you have the Admin Console open via the link I posted select Help | About and see what is listed as My URL. Most of today's routers have a method to assign a static address to a device so it won't change when rebooted. Or, if using Windows, you can use the link in Network Places which should update when the address on the ISY changes. Rand
-
Hello Denis, It seems your ISY may no longer be at the address you are referring to. Does this link work? http://www.universal-devices.com/99i Rand

Hi Phil, Yes, I think something must have changed in the new keypads. As for MutEx buttons you should be able to drag and drop the buttons into the group(s). There are 2 groups for 6-button KPLs and 4 groups for 8 button KPLs. Rand

50% dim = 50% power reduction with Insteon switches. It is 1:1 from 0 to 100%. As for lumens/watts there are many variations in both kinds of bulbs so a direct comparison would be impossible. Rand
-
Hi Phil, Please delete the KPL from the ISY and add it back using the address and New Insteon Device while selecting the Device Type from the drop down instead of using Auto Discover. Can you please tell me the version number of the KPL? Rand
-
When you reset are you unplugging the PLM? If so would you try by disconnecting the cable between the PLM and the ISY? That will tell us if it is the PLM of the ISY locking up. Rand
-
The RemoteLinc must be entered manually by address: Link_Management_Menu#Link_a_RemoteLinc Rand
-
When Catch up schedules at Restart is checked the ISY should start at midnight and run all your scheduled programs until it reaches the current time. Rand

Hello Moshe, If you would like the new switch to behave exactly as the old one did there is no need to remove any links. 1. Physically replace the old switch with the new. 2. Add the new switch to the ISY. 3. Select the old switch, right-click and from the menu select "Replace OldSwitch with > New Switch". Rand

Shift-click to select multiple rows, Control-click to select multiple devices (non-adjacent).

Hello Gregg, I think you should use two separate programs: Notify Me: If Status 'GrgeRly1 GC Door' is On And Status 'GameRm KPL A' is not On Then Repeat Every 5 minutes Send Notification to All Else - No Actions - (To add one, press 'Action') Close Door: If Status 'GrgeRly1 GC Door' is On And Status 'GameRm KPL A' is not On Then Wait 10 minutes Set 'GrgeOtpt1 GC Button' On Else - No Actions - (To add one, press 'Action')

Hello Jack, Grouping Devices allows you to collapse multi-button controllers on the tree.

Hi JCA, Please see this Wiki article concerning Mutually Exclusive buttons: ISY-99i/ISY-26_INSTEON:Linking_a_KeypadLinc#What_are_Mutually_Exclusive_Buttons. In short, drag the 3 buttons you want as MutEx into one of the scenes in the window. Reset removes all MutEx settings. Rand Ah, a bug for sure. Thank you. Rand

Hello greenbowtie, Unfortunately it sounds as if your PLM is DOA. I have to suggest phoning your retailer for a replacement. Rand

Replace InLineLinc Relay with SwitchLinc Relay
Sub-Routine replied to mike123456789's topic in ISY994
Hello Mike, SwitchLinc Relays are a controller as well as a responder. Devices can only be replaced with like devices (controller/responder, relay/dimmer, etc.) so the option is not shown. Rand -
Hi lloverin, If you set the static address in the ISY you have to be sure the other parameters are correct. Please see this Wiki article: Quick_Start_Guide#Assigning_ISY_a_Static_IP_Address. Rand

Hi Mark, Did you recently upgrade the firmware? I have seen this myself several times when changing firmware. Each time clearing the java cache set things right. Rand
-
Is there any reason you aren't turning the scene Off using your program? Or you could create a scene with just the two KPL buttons and follow the main scene On command with another action to turn the button scene off. Rand
-
The Timeout is the amount of time of no motion before the Off is sent. Only after an Off is sent will an On be sent again. The Timeout is not x minutes from the first motion, it is x minutes since the last motion. Rand
-
Hello Frank, I am glad to read your upgrade worked. And no, there shouldn't be any ill effects if the upgrade completed. Please use this link to acces your ISY now: http://www.universal-devices.com/99i. Rand

I am glad to read that you found the problem Drew. You had me wondering. In the not too distant future we are going to apply a symbol to folder icons that will indicate when there are Conditions on the folder. Thanks for the update, Rand

Matt, you could reverse the logic of the programs. Switch the Then and Else actions in the Wait to Change program and change the other two programs to coincide. Consider it an extra credit assignment Rand
-
Hi Matt, My logic is that the programs are only active between sunrise-sunset. When sunrise occurs my outside lights turn on to the Stormy Day scene via schedule. Then when (if) it brightens the WeatherBug program turns them off. During the day if it becomes dark/light they turn on/off. A schedule turns on my Evening scene at sunset and the light data programs are disabled. A few things to keep in mind. Even when the light data is 0 here it is still bright enough to see. This varies by station. Sometimes a WeatherBug station fails and the light data remains at 0 even on a bright day. So my Stormy Day scene only turns on 2 of my 5 outside lights. I think it's enough to make it appear as though someone is home and it doesn't waste so much power as having all the lights on like I do in the Evening/Midnight scenes. Inside the house I use the same logic. Only enough lights stay on during dark days to make the house look occupied. Rand
-
Hi Tim, The station I use is ~4.25 miles. There is a station ~1.0 miles from me but without light data. 26 miles is probably too far for accurate data, but it can't hurt to try. Rand
