    EZIO4O ...

Can this device be programed to activate the sprinklers every Nth day (ie. Every 3rd day, 5th day, etc)?
  2. Good Point, thanks.
  3. One thing I noticed is that on the Electricity Tab I see a what appears to be an Optionbox on the lower right portion of the screen with a label of "S" (see image below: Here is a screen shot of my About screen: I also had this same issue with the previous firmware v2.7.15
  4. Went very smoothly.
  5. Thanks!
  6. So basically, the Query key word forces the ISY to re-poll the devices in that scene, right?
  7. Mike, Thanks for the response, so what is the following line of code exactly doing: Set Scene 'SC Outside Sunset' Query I am not able to wrap my head around the Query function.
  8. Thanks, I'll give it look.
  9. Any updates on your Beta testing?

    Mobile Program

I wasn't sure which forum to post this question since each mobile app seems to have their own forum. What I wanted to know if there is an app that I can run on my iPad where I would be able to create and edit programs and other aspects on my ISY? It is much easier for me to carry around my iPad then it is for me to lug around my laptop. I am currently using the Mobile Linc Pro app which is great but I would like the flexibility to change or add programs with having to pull out my laptop especially now as I am in my experimental stage. Thanks to all!
  11. Ok, that's what I thought but I wasn't sure. Thanks for your response!
  12. One thing I forgot to mention is that the existing garage door button is a momentary switch. I have tried each setting for the IOLinc control portion (Momentary A, Momentary B, Momentary C) except for latching and the Momentary B selection seems to be the only one that works.
  13. Guys -- Can someone give me a real world example of using the "Query" option of a control in the then portion of a program. Thanks!
  14. Guys -- I recently have installed the I/O Linc - INSTEON Garage Door Control & Status Kit and I need some help on configuring and using it with multiple Keypads. This is what I want to do: 1. Get a visual notification via a KeyPad button that the door is open 2. Receive an email/text message if door is open longer that 5 minutes 3. Press a button on the KPD to open/close the door. I also want to know what mode I should set the control portion of the IOLinc to (Latching, Momentary A, Momentary B, Momentary C) and should I select any of the check boxes on the control's option form. Also what option should I select for the KPD Buttons (Toggle, Toggle On, Toggle Off, etc)? This is what I have tried so far: 1. I have created a scene where the Status portion of the IOLinc is set as the Controller and the F Buttons on each of the KPD are set as Reponders. 2. I have created the following program to control the Garage Door: KP-F Button Pressed If ( Control '1 Floor KP.F' is switched On Or Control '2 Floor Hall KP.F' is switched On Or Control '3 Floor KP.F' is switched On Or Control 'Master BD KP.F' is switched On ) Then Set '1 Floor / Garage / Garage Door-Control' On Else - No Actions - (To add one, press 'Action') 4. Here is the program I am using to notify me if the door is left open for more than 5 minutes Garage Door Notifier If Status 'Garage Door-Status' is On Then Wait 5 minutes Send Notification to 'Family' Else - No Actions - (To add one, press 'Action') One of the problems I am seeing is that I have to manually set the control portion of the IOLinc to off after it has been been set to On in order to operate the Garage Door. Here is the program I have for that: Garage Control Reset If Status 'Garage Door-Control' is On Then Wait 2 seconds Set 'Garage Door-Control' Off Else - No Actions - (To add one, press 'Action') Thanks in advance for any suggestions!
  15. Guys -- I have four KeypadLincs and I want the B Button to control my outside lighting so I created a scene that includes all of my outside lights set up as Responders and I also added the B Button on each KeyPad as Controllers. Should I create a separate scene for each B button making it the controller and all other buttons and lights as the responders?
  16. Thanks guys! Basically here is what I looking to do. I want to know if someone turns on any light on our first floor and indicate it on all of our keypads so that I can press the KP button and turn off all of the lights from the KP. This way I can look at the KP in our bedroom and know if there are any lights still on down stairs. So I am looking for the proper way to code this either by using a scene and/or programs. Also, if a switch in a controller in two different scenes, are these two scenes now joined together?
  17. Thanks, so if I wanted to control two ToggleLinc relays from two different Keypads, then I should set the scene up as follows: ToggleLinc 1 - Responder ToggleLinc 2 - Responder KeypadLinc 1 - Button B - Controller KeypadLinc 2 - Button B - Controller or do I need two different scenes with each KeypadLinc designated as the controller? Also, do I need to create a program to "turn on" the button B light for each KeypadLinc whenever ToggleLinc 1 or 2 is manually switched on or should I just added them all as controllers?
  18. Still trying to wrap my head around this so here is my latest question, is an ISY Scene the same as manually linking two or more insteon devices?
  19. These are great, thanks!!
  20. Thanks! One last question, does the ISY synchronize the time on the thermometer? I assume so but I wanted to check, this is one of the issues I'm experiencing with my current thermometers.
  21. Thanks guys, I am ok with electricity but HVAC is something else
  22. I am not sure what you mean. with my current setup do I need any additional wires or will I be abel to install the Venstar with the existing wires?
  23. Lawr1000, That is exactly what I am looking to do, I also want to receive an email whenever the temp is changed from the preset values, this will enhanse every dad's sixth sense of knowing when the someone touches the thermostat especially when I am not home .
  24. Yes sir and BTW your suggestions seems to have resolved the issues I was having. I guess the dimmers were the cause of the problem. Thanks again!
  25. I had been reading a lot about installing the Venstar 7-day thermostat. One question remains, will I be able to install this without running a "Common" wire. Here is a photo of my existing thermostat and the wires connecting it to my heating/cooling plant:
