Z-wave connectivity
I have a EcoNET Bulldog water valve installed. This is a z-wave device that turns off my main water valve. It used to work with the ISY but the eisy cannot find it. I've turned off the S2 option but it still cannot find it. The company is saying that the issue is that the eisy cannot link to the EVC200 control module. Anyone have any experience like this? The "solution" is a new one that is matter over wifi for $100.

Eisy offline after power failure
I have been working with UD tech support who have been great. I luckily had a HDMI monitor and USB keyboard lying around to plug in to the eisy to do troubleshooting and enter command line commands. Still not quite there but better. I suspect it had a bad update cycle and got borked.

Portal disconnect
No joy. Put in a ticket. Bummer, can't run any of my programs.

Eisy offline after power failure
I did a router and eisy power cycle and it did not connect. Currently looks booted, the ethernet port light flashes and the switch sees traffic on its port but no eisy connect. I'll open a ticket. Hauling a monitor and keyboard to where it is will be "interesting" It is up on a shelf in the basement with the switches, NAS boxes, etc.

I'll try the router cycling. Thanks.

Eisy offline after power failure
We had a brief power failure as the generator came up and switched over. The cable modem was not on UPS packup (is now) so internet dropped. When power came back up, it seems the Eisy is up but I cannot find it with IoX finder and the portal says it is disconnected. I have power cycled it (front button is blue) and the switch seems to be getting data from the Eisy. I have power cycled the PLM as well. The Eisy still looks to be offline. Any ideas?

Also, IoX Finder cannot find my Eisy.

Portal disconnect
We had a brief (hour) generator run today due to a downed tree. The internet stayed up but the Eisy had a brief power cycle (it was not on the UPS at the time, it is now). Since power has come back up, I continue to get portal disconnect messages. The Eisy is up (blue light on power switch) and all networking is up and running. Not sure what I should do next. I did power cycle the PDM again. Thanks.

EISY has stopped talking to my 6-button switch
My EISY has stopped controlling one of my 6-button wall switches. The local load is the one that I am using for a reading lamp by a chair and although the thing is programmed into the EISY (brought over from ISY) it does not seem to be seen by the EISY. Light state does not show up and EISY cannot control it. Any suggestions for first step next for troubleshooting? Thanks and Merry Christmas!

Yale z-wave lock/eisy/google home integration
I am trying get my Yale assure z-wave lock to work through eisy to the google home portal. It used to work with my ISG. Now I can see and control the lock through the eisy portal but I cut get it to show up as available to the google portal. Any ideas? I am not terribly z-wave centric, I have lots of Insteon stuff.

ISY-Eisy Migration
I have done the migration and the Eisy shows my Insteon network and controls it. I am trying to migrate my Google Home stuff over. When I go in to Google Home, I still see the devices but they are "offline". When I try to relink Universal Devices, it tries to hand me to the ISY portal which does not open. How to I reconnect? I think I have to delete all my old devices in Google Home and reinstall them but I cannot figure out how to delete them and relink UDI.

Lost connections
I put a filter on the nearby chest freezer and will try another outlet in the vicinity. I'd really like it to be downstairs with everything else. An odd note, when the PLM was offline, my Insteon lights all flashed at random times. As soon as I got the PLM and ISY up and running , the flashing went away.

THANK YOU! I moved the PLM and ISY to an entirely different part of the house and it all works. I had tried two different outlets downstairs adjacent to my new shelves for my NAS drives and switches, etc. That was the problem. Now that I have it back, and know the problem, I will try one additional outlet that was recently installed downstairs. An electrician changed an old dryer outlet into two duplex outlets. If these work it would be more convenient. If they don't, I'll neaten up my test setup and keep it there. Again, thank you. I am moving into a new house and all my network testing gear is an hour and a half away.

Lost connections
Techman, Here is the diagnostic log I just ran at startup. All I did to provoke this is to move the ISY and PLM from one side of my basement to another (different outlets). ISY Error Log.v4.9.0__Mon 2024.04.01 10.08.47 AM.txt

Individual restores did not work. I will do a PLM reset.

Lost connections
Yes and will do another. All my devices are red exclamation points. When I log into the administration console I get a barrage of "cannot communicate with xyz device" errors. I'll try the right click and restore thing. If it does not work I will do a PLM reset. Again, thanks for advice.

Did this. PLM has solid green light. ISY has one blue light, no flashing rx/tx like before. When I log into UD Admin Console I get a "failed communication" error for every Insteon device. It is like it does not see anything, my Google integration is gone. Seems like PLM is locked up. Is there a way to reset it? I tried a PLM restore from the admin console but got nothing.

More info. It is a 2413S that is relatively new. The TX and RX LEDS are not flashing on the back. The network connect and activity lights on the back are lit.

Lost connections
I recently reconfigured my home network and physically moved my ISY994i. When I hooked it up, the ISY has had a small freakout and I've lost most of my dimmer connections. The admin console says it can see the PLM and it is working but on the "Main" column, all Insteon devices are not found (exclamation points). I tried a PLM restore that didn't seem to do anything. Not sure what I did but need to dig back out. Any ideas are appreciated. Thanks.

ISY problems
Update: Got the outdoor module to work. I had to replace a module with a same-type, different version one. I've successfully added it to the ISY but when I go to the old module listing and go to "replace", the new one is not there as an option.

ISY problems
I am having multiple ISY problems that are driving me insane. 1. I have a Insteon 2477D dimmer that works manually fine. It used to work in my ISY. Now the ISY shows an exclamation point and doesn't talk to it. I've put it in linking mode to see if that is a possible fix but it doen't "find it". Not sure what to do. 2. I replaced a 5 button dimmer module with a new one since the old one died. I've linked it in but the ISY would not replace it. When I look at it in the ISY Admin Console I see the main module (on/off) buttons (which work) but don't see the sub buttons except D. 3. I have a brand new on/off outdoor module which I was using to replace a dead minimodule. I cannot get the ISY to see it. It is a 2634-222. I've tried moving it around to different outlets. I've put noise filters on everything I could think is or would be noisy (don't have any other noise problems). When I put it into linking mode the ISY responds that it cannot see it. Any help or suggestions would be great. Thanks. Oh, ISY 994i PRO running v.4.0.0 both firmware and UI.
