Thanks. Is it ok to delete that scene?
-
The problem seems to have corrected itself upon upgrading to 4.0.5. But, one more question. A scene named "Auto DR" is appearing in my Main tab. What is that?

Just got aroung to installing the 994i. Everythng seems to be working fine, but when I try to access the control panel I get an error message about a UUID mismatch - essentially saying there is a mismatch between the UUID of the 99i vs. that of the 994i. How do I fix this?
-
Thanks. I was able to access it. Is there a guide/manual to the function of the different check boxes?

Is there a way to access an I/O Linc thru the ISY? I believe HouseLinc allows you to access and I/O Linc. It would sure make configuration easier.

Got it. Where should I save it - to the desktop?
-
Awesome - thanks. Assume I simply download the zip file from the forum and take it from there.

Just ordered the 994i Pro to upgrade from my 99i Pro. I will follow the directions below. Quesiton: the latest firmware release for the 994i appears to be 4.0.5, yet my 99i Pro is at 3.3.10. Is this going to pose a problem??

Got it, thanks.

Thanks. I set it up that way and it is working, but have a follow up question. In the IF statement of a program, is it possible to use the status of a scene to start the THEN? Specifically, I set up a scene called "Irrigation Program" and linked (as a controller and responder) Key 8 on a KeyPadLinc to that scene. I then set up a program that runs when Key 8 on the KeyPadLinc is set to ON. At the end of the THEN statement in the program, I have it set scene Irrigation Program to OFF, which turns of the Key 8. Just curious, but is there a way to invoke the program using the status of scene Irrigation Program and not device Key 8?

I have set up one of the buttons on a KeyPadLinc to initiate an irrigation program on my ISY. I'd like the light on the key to turn off after the program runs. What line of code should I use in the program to make this happen?

About to pull the trigger on purchasing the EZFlora. Before doing so, I want to confirm a few things: 1. Are the individual sprinkler zones similar to scenes that I can simply turn on and off using my ISY and/or a KeyPadLinc? 2. Further, can I then create programs in the ISY to turn the irrigation system on at predetermined times for predetermined lengths - e.g. at 7 AM every other day, start with zone 1 for 5 minutes, then zone 2 for 3 minutes, etc.? The reason I ask is the manual for the EZFlora is a bit confusing, indicating that the timer function is resident within the EZFlora. All I really want the EZFlora to do is serve as the switch to turn the zones on and off, with the intelligence (e.g. irrigation schedule) residing on the ISY. Also, I want to put an 8 switch KeyPadLinc next to the EZFlora so I can manually switch on zones and/or start a program sequence. Thanks.

Thank you Lee. Will I need to purchase a module on the ISY to run the EZRain?

I have a master valve as well. Lee - you indicate above that "the SHN Utility requires a PLM as a powerline interface" in order to change the master valve default setting. Can I use a SmartLinc as the interface to the EZRain in order to change the default for the master valve? I upgraded a year ago from SmartLinc to ISY and don't otherwise use the SmartLinc. That way I can avoid buying another PLM. Also, once I get the master valve default changed, can I control the EZ Rain through my ISY? I suspect I need to purchase a new module, correct? I would like to have one interface to my home automation... Thanks.

Thanks LeeG. I understand your explanation and the work around. Will think it over if it's worth putting an InLineLinc into the mix.

I have a six button KeyPadLinc and I would like to change the LED behavior for the large on/off buttons. Specifically, when the light it is controlling is off, I would like the top button (i.e. the "on" button) to be lit. Conversely, when the light is on, I would lke the bottom button (i.e. the "off" button) to be lit. The reason being that I have this next to my bed and I want to be able to find the on button when the room is dark in the middle of the night. I do not beleive the KeyPadLinc is programmable directly. Is there a way to program it through my ISY? Thanks.

Happy Holidays! I'm looiking for a thermometer/humidity that I can mount outside and send the info to my ISY. I can hook it up to 110 v power. Is there anything out there to do this? I would like to set up a program to turn on my gutter heaters automatically if tem/humidity hit critical thresholds.

One consideration is running the wire through the condensate drain in the referigerator or freezer. I have a sub zero refridgerator and a seperate subzero freezer. Both have a drain in the back alon the wall that runs to a pan under the unit. The drain is at the bottom of a sill that collects the water that results from the automatic thaw cycle in both units. You could potentially run a wire through that drain pipe into the units without compromising the door seals. Will probably require taking a few things apart, but shouldn't be too much of a problem so long as the wire is water proof. Just a thought.

I figured it out. I had to generate and create a new certificant using 1024 encyrption. The 512 no longer worked presumably due to a Microsoft upgrade. Now I need to figure out how to get rid of the warning scrren that comes up when I try to hit it remotely - the screen saying the certificate is not recognized and Microsoft doesn't recommending proceeding.

I'm having a problem accessing my ISY remotely from outside my home network. The problem just seemed to surface. I use a dns alias account and it is working fine as I am able to remote desktop in to my home computer from work. My ISY is https port 6700 and port fowarding is enabled on my router. When I attempt to access it remotely I get the error webpage on my browser. Thoughts?

I have the Pro. Based on the link, I think I should be well below the capabilities of the unit.

Is there a way to assess if I am reaching the limits of my 99i regarding number of scenes, devices, etc.? I have approximately 60 devices on the network and 15 scenes. I have a few scenses that have 20+ devices in them. As I continue to build out my network, I'm just curious if I am reacing the limits on the 99i. Thanks.

If needed, can a new (i.e. replacement) ISY be programmed by restoring the settings saved from an old ISY? Just curious if in fact some day I need to replace my existing ISY hardware. I have a ton of devices, scenes and programs which would be a pain to re-create from scratch.
