  1. I reset the PLM and ISY and it works. Thanks a bunch
  2. I made the changes you suggested and when I clicked SAVE it reset the ISY. After it reset I tried to log back into it and it opened in SAFE Mode. I went and unplugged it and then powered it back up. Went to login again and it still logs into SAFE Mode. Any suggestions.
  3. I know that there are multiple threads on this but I can't seem to figure this out. I had it all running at one point and then I had a power outage...please help: Router Settings for ISY: IP is 192.168.1.101 Internal Port is 443 External Ports is 443 ISY Configuration: When I try to use the FILE/Enable Internet Access I get that an error that it fails If I go to the Configuration Tab I show that it has Automatic DHCP selected (greyed out ip address of 192.168.1.1 and http port of 80 and https port of 443). If I uncheck automatic DHCP and try to manually change the ip address to 192.168.1.101 I get an error that the subnet mask is in correct. This is where I am stuck. Any and all help is appreciated. Thanks.
  4. Do you have any suggestions on how I can make the comm stronger between the two?

  6. That worked for the fan speeds. Thank you The redwire of the kpl is capped. I am controlling the on/off through the on/off on kpl. I am using the KPL as the controller and the fan linc as the responder. I feel like I must be missing something simple
  7. An additional problem is that is doesnt appear to be able to dim the light either. Just on/off
  8. Ok I just switched out a 6 button keypdad switch to a 6 button keypad dimmer. I logged into my ISY99 using the universal-devices.com/99i and username and password. From there I removed all of the old scenes and device from the switch. I was using it with a fanlinc and I an using the new dimmer with the fanlinc as well. I then created 5 new scenes (Fan High, Med, Low, Off, Light) and add the Keypad button as the controller and the fanlinc as the responder for each. I also set the proper fanlinc speed for each scene. Seemed to work flawlessly. However when I physically any of the 4 Keypad Fan buttons the fan turns on high. When I turn on the scene from my Admin Console it works perfectly HELP?!?

    Power Outage

I know this has to have been asked 100x before but can someone point me to the proper thread or help me out. I recently had to reset the breaker that my ISY-99i and my router are on. Now I cannot access my ISY remotely. I am usinf Mobil Linc to access everything when I am outside my network. I am sure that on the reboot a setting got changed and this should be a simple fix. Thanks.
  10. Thanks for the quick response
  11. Just like the title says, I accidentaly bought a 6 button switch and I wanted the dimmer version. I have bought the dimmer version now and would like to swap the two out. Outside of the wiring the new keypad what steps do I need to make to remove/replace my old keypad? It is currently acting as my control to a fanlinc. If possible I would like to not have to redo the scenes, but I understand if I do. thanks for the help guys
  12. Has anyone used one of these? http://www.smarthome.com/75790BC/Smarth ... ion/p.aspx Does it work with an ISY-99i?
  13. Does anyone have any suggestions on a solution for a baby monitor that I can tie into my insteon system with my ISY-99i? Thanks
  14. LeeG is correct I am trying to reverse the direction of the fan even using a fanlinc despite the fan itself not having a physical reverse button/switch. I called the fan manu as well and they suggested turning the fan on high and then flipping the breaker. The said to try this a few times and eventually the fan would change directions. Seemed weird but I tried it 5 times and the results did not change the fan direction. I stopped trying because it I was getting tired of walking up and down the 3 flights of stairs..... Anybody else have an idea?
  15. I know people have been over this but I can't find a good easy link to follow.....I had a power outage and I cannot use my Mobilinc Iphone app over cellular communications. I have my router internal and external port set to 443. My ISY http port is set to 80 and https port set to 443. My mobilinc local port is set to 80. Any help is appreciated and if you have any questions please let me know and I will try to anwser them. Thanks again
  16. Does anyone have any suggestions about lack of a physical direction switch
  17. Thanks for the help

  19. Here is the address for the fanlinc motor:14 CA B 2 fanlinc light:11 E4 24 1 keypad :11 E4 24 3 Not sure if I ran the diagnostics correct but here is the fan light: <?xml version="1.0"?> -Device Links Table : Nursery Fan Light / 14 CA B 1--40881620183436616719617 -40801620183436616719618 -407216224183436616719618 -40641623117251616719618 -405616225183436612525314 -40481624117251616719618 -40401622618343664136706 -40321625117251616719618 -40241622718343667938 -401616228183436616719617 -40081621117251616719617 -40000000
  20. All of the responder levels were set correctly already.
  21. So I've got a fanlinc that I recently installed and I think there is an issue. I'm controlling the fan speeds through a 6 button keypad. The keypad seems to be setup correctly. I am using a ISY-99i to control everything. Each button is set up to control the speeds via a scene. The issue is I think the fanlinc isn't switching from low to med to high speeds. It all seems to be high. Any suggestions? Thanks A separate issue is that my fan has no manual direction switch. I can only switch it using their remote and their IR receiver. Since Fanlinc doesn't have the direction control built in, has anyone figured out a way to get around this?
  22. The only light on is the Power light and it is solid blue
  23. Ok I reset it by pressing the reset button on the front until the lights started to blink. After it reset I went to connect using http://www.universal-devices.com/99i/ Once the user interface came up I got the following error:XML Parse Error http://192.168.1.101:/desc Please help, thanks
  24. I had a power outage a while ago and I was no longer able to talk to ISY when out of my WiFi. When I went to make the changes to be able to communicate again I accidently made an incorrect change and now I cannot talk at all to the ISY. I need to bring it back to factory defaults. I have a (mostly current) configuration file that I can then download to it. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.
  25. So I had a power outage last week and lost the ability to use mobilinc over cellular data. I went into the ISY-99 through universal-devices/99i and I tried to change the port number to 443. One of the ports was set to 80 and the other 443. I couldn't remember the steps to fix the issue so I tried to change the 80 port to 443. Obviously this was the wrong thing to do because now when I try to log into the ISY I get the following error: XML Parse error http: 192.168.1.1:443/desc Please help. This stuff drives me nuts.
