Thanks for the help. Not sure what happened, but when I went through the steps you described the test came back successful and the switch worked from then on. Thanks again

Sorry didnt realize there were multiple versions. It is a 2473. It has a lamp plugged into it. The lamp does turn on and off with pressing the button on the outletlinc. The only way I've been able to get the switchlinc to be able to control it is by using a program If Switch is On then Set Outlet On else Set Outlet Off Is this the only way to do it?
-
It's an outletlinc that has a lamp plugged into it
-
I've added both my switch and outlet to a scene called Room Lamp. I have set the switch to be the controller and the outlet to be the responder. However when I turn the switch on or off nothing happens with the outlet. Please help. Thanks.

So I just tried to link to a different IOLinc plugged into an outlet within the house and I got the same error Any suggestions

I had an IO Linc and garage door sensor kit that had been working fine. We moved into a new house and took it with us. We factory reset our ISY and have been setting up our dimmers and switches without any issues. I installed the IO Linc and sensor yesterday. When I first started to link it to my ISY everything seemed fine. I was able to setup the device and use the admin console to control the device. The next time I logged in through the admin panel I got "Cannot communicate with.....Sensor. Please check connections. I tried removing the device and relinking it. I got the same error. I then removed the device again and did a factory reset to my IOLinc. I got the same error when I tried to link it again. All of the other devices are working fine. Any suggestions

Took forever but I was able to login. I was ultimately trying to be able to restore my ISY because I've been having a few issues. One issue I have right now is that even though I can see all my devices and scenes the console cannot load the current states of the devices which makes me think I am not communicating with the isy completely. I backed up the ISY the last time everything was working well. However I cannot seem to find the location of the backup. What is the default or file extenstion?
-
Thanks, that resolved the Java issue, New problem When the console screen pops up it never asks me to login and doesn't populate anything in the ISY. I tried to manually login by going to File<Logon. Nothing happened. I tried to go to restore ISY...nothing happened

I am trying to connect to my admin console of my isy-99i, I tried using the link: http://universal-devices.com/99i/. However while the java section tries to load I got this error: ClassNotFoundException - com.universaldevices.client.ui.UDClientApplet.class Any suggestions? I made sure my java was up to date already
-
I removed the device and relinked it and that worked. Thanks for help. Hope this doesn't happen frequently.
-
I upgraded the firmware. Can you suggest the best way to remove and relink the IOLinc?
-
The programs seem to be there now. Not sure what changed but the Tab is active again.
-
I ran the Links Table for the IOLinc and it was empty. Since the IOLinc is close the PLM right now I tried restoring the device again. I rechecked the Links Table and it was still empty. I will try the removal and reinstall of the IOlinc. Firmware version is: 3.2.6

To help clarify my last post a bit. When I created the event log I was toggling the IOlinc and was not jumping/unjumping the sensor
-
The event log shows changes in the iolinc not changes on the sensor. When I was testing the sensor with the jumper I was watching the Current State of the sensor and did not see any change despite the led changing.
-
I know that the access points are opposite legs. I used those to allow everything to communicate before I got any dual band devices I moved the IOLinc next to the PLM and jump the sensor. The LED went green but the status on the ISY did not change. I also ran the event viewer again. I've got several dual band devices (2 fan lincs and 2 dimmer switches) as well as 2 of the dual band access points (2443) plugged into separate 120V legs. The IOLinc had been working for awhile. I am not sure when it started to act this way. It is plugged in up by the garage door opener. I have no fluorescent lights in the garage at all. My garage opener, lights, and kitchen lights are all on that same breaker. In terms of physical location, the iolinc is 15-20 ft away from the PLM. What is the 4 tap Set button test?

I haven't tried LeeG's suggestion yet. I will shortly. In the meantime I copied the log (and I'll copy a new one once I can move the IOLinc close to the PLM): Tue 09/17/2013 02:35:34 PM : [iNST-TX-I1 ] 02 62 19 61 92 0F 13 02 Tue 09/17/2013 02:35:34 PM : [iNST-ACK ] 02 62 19.61.92 0F 13 02 06 LTOFFRR(02) Tue 09/17/2013 02:35:35 PM : [iNST-SRX ] 02 50 19.61.92 1B.FD.7E 2B 13 02 LTOFFRR(02) Tue 09/17/2013 02:35:35 PM : [standard-Direct Ack][19.61.92-->ISY/PLM Group=0] Max Hops=3, Hops Left=2 Tue 09/17/2013 02:35:35 PM : [ 19 61 92 2] ST 0 Tue 09/17/2013 02:35:41 PM : [iNST-TX-I1 ] 02 62 19 61 92 0F 11 02 Tue 09/17/2013 02:35:41 PM : [iNST-ACK ] 02 62 19.61.92 0F 11 02 06 LTONRR (02) Tue 09/17/2013 02:35:41 PM : [iNST-SRX ] 02 50 19.61.92 1B.FD.7E 27 11 02 LTONRR (02) Tue 09/17/2013 02:35:41 PM : [standard-Direct Ack][19.61.92-->ISY/PLM Group=0] Max Hops=3, Hops Left=1 Tue 09/17/2013 02:35:41 PM : [ 19 61 92 2] ST 255 Tue 09/17/2013 02:35:58 PM : [iNST-TX-I1 ] 02 62 19 61 92 0F 13 02 Tue 09/17/2013 02:35:58 PM : [iNST-ACK ] 02 62 19.61.92 0F 13 02 06 LTOFFRR(02) Tue 09/17/2013 02:35:59 PM : [iNST-SRX ] 02 50 19.61.92 1B.FD.7E 23 13 02 LTOFFRR(02) Tue 09/17/2013 02:35:59 PM : [standard-Direct Ack][19.61.92-->ISY/PLM Group=0] Max Hops=3, Hops Left=0 Tue 09/17/2013 02:35:59 PM : [ 19 61 92 2] ST 0 Tue 09/17/2013 02:36:01 PM : [iNST-TX-I1 ] 02 62 19 61 92 0F 11 02 Tue 09/17/2013 02:36:01 PM : [iNST-ACK ] 02 62 19.61.92 0F 11 02 06 LTONRR (02) Tue 09/17/2013 02:36:01 PM : [iNST-SRX ] 02 50 19.61.92 1B.FD.7E 23 11 02 LTONRR (02) Tue 09/17/2013 02:36:01 PM : [standard-Direct Ack][19.61.92-->ISY/PLM Group=0] Max Hops=3, Hops Left=0 Tue 09/17/2013 02:36:01 PM : [ 19 61 92 2] ST 255 Tue 09/17/2013 02:36:20 PM : [iNST-TX-I1 ] 02 62 19 61 92 0F 13 02 Tue 09/17/2013 02:36:20 PM : [iNST-ACK ] 02 62 19.61.92 0F 13 02 06 LTOFFRR(02) Tue 09/17/2013 02:36:20 PM : [iNST-SRX ] 02 50 19.61.92 1B.FD.7E 27 13 02 LTOFFRR(02) Tue 09/17/2013 02:36:20 PM : [standard-Direct Ack][19.61.92-->ISY/PLM Group=0] Max Hops=3, Hops Left=1 Tue 09/17/2013 02:36:20 PM : [ 19 61 92 2] ST 0 Tue 09/17/2013 02:36:24 PM : [iNST-TX-I1 ] 02 62 19 61 92 0F 11 02 Tue 09/17/2013 02:36:24 PM : [iNST-ACK ] 02 62 19.61.92 0F 11 02 06 LTONRR (02) Tue 09/17/2013 02:36:24 PM : [iNST-SRX ] 02 50 19.61.92 1B.FD.7E 23 11 02 LTONRR (02) Tue 09/17/2013 02:36:24 PM : [standard-Direct Ack][19.61.92-->ISY/PLM Group=0] Max Hops=3, Hops Left=0 Tue 09/17/2013 02:36:24 PM : [ 19 61 92 2] ST 255

I did do a restore of the PLM. I just tried a restore of the IOLinc and it didn't fix the issue
-
None of the programs are running anymore. Are the programs stored on the SD card? Anything else stored on it? I don't have a firewall or antivirus setup so that wouldn't be it
-
I have recently factory reset the PLM and all of my other statuses show changes
-
I've got an IO Linc setup with a magnetic sensor for controlling my garage door. When the door is closed the LED on the IO Linc is green and when the door is open the LED is off. However according to my ISY the SENSOR status never changes. Any ideas?
-
I logged into my ISY to make a few changes to a lighting program and when I clicked on the Programs Tab nothing comes up. Any suggestions?
