Would there be any compatibility issues with a keypadlinc (v1. 8 ) and a fanlinc and isy-99i?

I wasn't logging in correctly after my update of the firmware. I think I'm getting close to get this to work how I would like. I will post if I still need help. Thanks.

I am linking my Fanlinc now and have been reading a lot of posts to make sure this works correctly. However I think I have an issue with the linking. I put my ISY into linking mode and went up to the fanlinc pressed the light button once until it went green. Then press and held the light button until I got the confirmation beep. Went back down and 2 devices showed up on my isy: 14.9E.D4-Light 14.9E.D4-Motor If I select these devices, on the main screen frame to the right it has the title name 14.9E.D4-Light and then under that it says unsupported device 1.46 The settings under it are: Current State (slide bar 0-100) On Level (slide bar 0-100 Ramp Rate (slide bar 0.1s - 9m) This doesn't seem right since a lot of the posts I have been reading discuss Fan options of High Med Low, etc Any suggestions? FYI, my ISY fimrware is v.3.2.4 and the UI is v.3.1.17

I went through and charted how the garage is working in the 3 different momentary modes: Momentary Physical Current State Sensor Sent On Sent Off B Open Off On Closed Nothing Close Off Off Opened Nothing Open On On Closed Nothing Close On Off Opened Nothing C Open Off On Closed Nothing Close Off Off Opened Nothing Open On On Closed Nothing Close On Off Opened Nothing A Open Off On Closed Nothing Close Off Off Opened Nothing Open On On Closed Nothing Close On Off Opened Nothing Doesn't act any differently in the 3 modes. Issue is that the garage doesn't ever close with a 'off' command and the 'on' command both opens and closes the garage. Does this seem right? Am I missing something? Seems like this could cause problems

My biggest concern with different Momentary modes is that I do not want an or "Off" command to open the garage regardless of what state the sensor is in. I am not as concerned if an 'On' command closes the door when it is open. The door being closed and staying closed is the main concern for safety. I had been using the IOlinc in momentary C mode. Does this make the most sense?

The garage will be controlled only through the programs in the ISY and MobilLinc Apps on my phone and ipad. I'm not using any keypads within the house to show the status. The main purpose is to be able to check the garage remotely when we are away (close it if we need to) and to have the garage close at night in case we forgot to close (happens way too often!) I haven't thought too much about the "All Off" feature. Right now I don't think I'll be using it but I can't say for sure.

I have an I/O Linc hooked up to my garage door opener with a magnetic switch. I had it working properly with my 2412N but now I am trying to get it linked properly with my ISY-99. I can get it linked to the interface and I can see the sensor and the iolinc. Not sure if the garage door should be opened or closed when I link it and if it should be Momentary A,B,C etc? Can anyone help set this up. I am also trying to setup a program to close the garage door at midnight. Thanks.

My neighbors thank you. Any idea on what I did wrong with the programs? I had 2 of them Front Lights ON If Time is 8:30 PM and status Front Porch is Off or status Garage Lights is Off Then Set Garage Lights On Set Front Porch On Else FronLights Off If Time is 9:50 and Status Garage Light is On or Front Porch is On Then Set Front Porch Off Set Garage Off End If

I deleted them before I disabled them. They are no longer there but it is not stopping the lights.

Last question of the night....I was trying to do a simple program to turn off my outside lights at a certain time. I started a new program I used the schedule feature to set the time and added it to the code I then added AND Device A is on or Device B is ON Then Set Device A Off and Set Device B Off When the program kicked off my lights started turning on and off and on and off like it was stuck in a loop. I trices ed deleting the programs (that didn't do it) and I tried to delete the devices (that has now caused all of my devices statuses to be blank and when I try to do anything I get Discovering Nodes, Retry....... Suggestions? Please (before I snap and quit) Thanks. -Edit - Need help quick. My F'ing lights are just turning on and off and I can't get them to stop

There is no other scene controlling the switches. They were linked together manually when I had the 2412 acting as the controller. That is now gone. I only have the new that I am trying to create controlling the switches through the ISY. I am really confused at this point. Do I need to reconnect the 2412 and unlink the switches that way. Then go back and reconnect the ISY and try to relink the switches?

The switches always had controlled each other and still do when they are physically pressed. Difference now is that I can not control them properly through the ISY

A little more to add.....when I physically press either paddle on or off they work correctly. However in the ISY control and scene is I press ON or Off on the screen they do not work together.

I just went through that process and no luck. Anyone have any ideas?

No red !. It has an icon with 3 green circles on the left and 2 green arrows on the top and a red square in the middle on the right

It follows the insteon switchlinc wiring for a 3-way switch and has worked that way for over a year. On switch A the load is capped and the traveler wire goes to switch B. On switch B the load goes to the light.

Ok, I tried creating a scene and then added the 2 devices as controllers. When I go to turn on the light from switch A, it turns on but not the light (it is wired to go to the other switch and not the load). Switch B does not change when change switch A. Likewie when I turn on Switch B (the light does goes on) but switch A does not change

I am trying to link a keypadlinc. When I linked it I used the keep the existing links option. When I pressed finish to start having it pull in the configs it went in to the initialization dialog box. It has been initialzinizing for about 50 minutes now. Everytime it gets to 100% it starts over. I tried to cancel out of it and it didn't work. I even closed down the browser, but when I log on again it automatically starts initializing again. Normal? help? Thanks.

I am a newbie toe the isy-99i. I came over from an insteon/smarthome 2412n. I have some knowledge and understanding of how most of this works. I am adding all of my lights right now to the isy. I have a 3-way switch that I had manually linked the switches so that when power was turned on one of the switches, both switches showed ON. When I link the devices to the ISY I used the save links option however it doesn't seem to have keep the relationship. How do I go about relinking the switches?
