I didn’t realize that UDI had such great service. By the time I re-checked the status of my order my new EISHY was in my mailable. Thank you!

I did receive the email, but just getting anxious for delivery. Patience was never one of my strong points!! Thanks for your response.

I recently ordered an Eisy, Zmatter USB and adaptor cable. How can I check order status? Thanks Ron

Can someone supply a link to the UDI parts catalog?

I recently upgraded my system to the Polisy after installing the z-wave z-matter board. I seem to do this right after there is a major system upgrade. I would like to hopefully do a final upgrade. In addition to the z-wave / z-matter upgrade, I am using a 2413s rev 2.4 0318 with a spare 2413s Rev 2.5 4718 on the shelf. In addition to the EISY I would have to purchase the USB enclosure for the z-wave/z-matter board as well as the connecting cable for the 2413. Are there any other pieces/parts I should be ordering? Also, are these parts available for immediate delivery or is there a backorder issue. Thanks for your help, Ron

In the process of upgrading my SSD before installing ZMatter I noticed the reference slot is in what appears to be the wrong position on the SSD board. Is this a manufacturing error or can I simply install the board upside down. I don't want to risk destroying my Polisy. Thanks, Ron

The problem may be with your iPhone, not with ISY. I experienced the same issue using MobiLinc Pro. In your iPhone settings make sure your "Allow Location Access" is set to ALWAYS. Not "While Using The App"

It does look like a straight forward program. Could I ask why the “dusk/dawn” line is in the program? If there’s a good reason to have that in the program you might want to add parentheses bracketing the entire IF statement.

Mr. Bill. Thank you for the advice on Insteon traffic during a link count. I never knew that. I tried it and you're right. I went from 232 to 82 after tripping a motion sensor.

Nothing happening here yet. I guess you just got lucky. Ron

My MobiLinc Pro also mysteriously stopped working without any changes to the system. My ISY is working fine. I also have MobiLinc X and that continues to work. I tried rebooting the ISY, accessing the MobiLinc Pro from various computers. No luck. It just appears dead. I have sent in a request for service to MobiLinc.

Responding to the geofence comment. Thank you! I've been tearing my hair out trying to figure why my wife's iPhone 6, version 12.5.5. works fine and my iPhone 12, version 15.2 fails.

Ed, I had the same problem with all my Christmas programs. I placed all the programs in a folder called Christmas Programs. I then use a variable to enable / disable all programs in the folder. If $Christmas_Programs > 49 Then Allow the programs in this folder to run.

By default, at least on my system, the default ramp rate for the devices is set to 9 minutes. Please check to make sure that is not your problem. Good luck, Ron

A number of years ago, I can’t tell you how many, Insteon had a device called SynchroLinc that could sense the on/off state of a pump/motor/etc. Worked really well and didn’t need Z-wave. Perhaps there are still some available online.

There may be an easier answer. I was faced with much the same issue with my sump pump, only in my case I wanted to know how often the pump started. I use an Aeotec Smart Switch 6 Z-Wave plug to monitor current flow to the pump. In my case I set the threshold to 100 watts. So my program increments a variable every time the current draw is greater than 100 watts. In your case, and depending on the current flow to your pump, you could simply program it to turn on an indicator light while the current flow is in excess of XXX, and turn off the indicator when it drops below XXX. Hope that helps, Ron PS The Aeotec Smart Switch is available on Amazon

Not getting comms events from motion sensors after restoring a new PLM
ronvond replied to brandwidth's topic in ISY994
Since your motion sensors are usually battery powered, did you put each one, individually of course, in linking mode and do a restore device? -
I've had similar problems. I put a "wait" command between the individual lights. Turn on light one Wait 5 seconds Turn on light two. Hope that helps.

I'm embarrassed to ask this question since I've seen it posted numerous times in the past. I just updated Java and can no longer access my admin console. Help!

There may be a simpler solution. I use the program below to power my under bed lights. If there is just a single event turning on the motion sensor the lights will extinguish after 5 minutes. The else statement triggers only after no motion has been detected for five minutes. The motion sensor is set for "On Only" commands. Hope this helps. Bedroom Motion Right - [ID 000A][Parent 0001][Run At Startup] If ( 'Bedroom / Bedroom Motion-Sensor' Status is On And From 10:30:00PM To Sunrise (next day) ) Then Set 'Bedroom / Under Bed Lites' Fast On Wait 5 minutes Set 'Bedroom / Under Bed Lites' Off Else Wait 5 minutes Set 'Bedroom / Under Bed Lites' Off

Signing in the last couple times I saw a message suggesting signing into all accounts using ISY portal. I don't have an ISY portal account and really don't want to purchase anything else. Is it possible to create an account simply for signing in? Also, would that account use the same login information I'm currently using? Thanks for your help, Ron

I just saw the notice that all future connections will be via ISY Portal. Will I need to switch from MobiLinc to ISY Portal to continue access to this forum? Does ISY Portal offer any features not already available through MobiLinc? I'm not resistant to change, but would like to know the pros / cons before changing. I do have POLISY.

I have been using two of the 2844’s outside for about 4 months (Wisconsin winters). Using just the regular battery compartment cover, I drilled two holes and screwed the cover to my garage door frame, then just slide the 2844 onto that. Works great. Temperatures have been sub-zero on occasion without issue using lithium batteries.

I like that thought. That will be the next major addition to my system. Polisy or Polisy Pro. Waiting for them to be in stock. Thanks
