Aidot does offer matter sharing, but only to other users of the Aidot app. Google Home and Smarthome will both require that I install a matter hub. I thought Eisy would serve as a Matter hub. Will Eisy eventually support adding Matter devices without having to add another hub or gateway? I'm confused.
-
Good catch! I had missed that IPV6 was required. Got it turned on now, but I'm still getting "Could not add Matter Device. Bluetooth Unsubscribed. 500" I don't have Google Home. I can successfully add these smart plugs to the Aidot app (from their manufacturer). I did reset the plugs to factory default before trying to add them to the Eisy.

Android. It's a Google Pixel 7. I did upgrade to 5.9.1.18, but no joy. Looking forward to getting this working. I really need to be able to control a few devices via Wifi instead of PLC or Insteon's mesh RF system. We've got a big piece of property and our Wifi network has outdoor repeaters.

Last week I tried to pair a Linkind Smartplug LC09003-PLUG-US-4 and I got this error message:. Could not get Matter QR Code rendezvous Type for MT:4Q0002:E15S60F76G00. 500 At the time I was on 5.9.1.7. I upgraded to 5.9.1.17 and tried again. I thought for a minute that it was going to work, but UD mobile finally gave me the error message: "could not add Matter Device. Bluetooth Unsubscribed. 500". Any idea what it is telling me?

how could I have ISY send a text that has a button..
rick.curl replied to someguy's topic in IoX Program Support
I wonder if Pushover might be the solution. Look here: https://pushover.net I am using it to send me text messages from Eisy when my generator is running. -Rick -
Similar problems here. I got a pack of four Linkind Smartplugs LC09003-PLUG-US-4. When I try to add them by scanning the QR code with UD mobile, I get: Could not get Matter QR Code rendezvous Type for MT:4Q0002:E15S60F76G00. 500 Hopefully somebody will straighten it out soon....... -Rick

That makes a lot of sense I didn't know that. I just replaced the Zigbee smart switch with a different brand and all is good now. Thanks for the help!

it looks like this is an issue with Wooley smart plugs. Not the fault of Eisy. Now that I know this- is there a way I can write a program so if a scene is switched on, to send the "on" commend every 5 minutes or so? I thought it would have been easy, but under the "if" section of code I can check a number of things, but I don't see a way to check to see if a scene is turned on or not. Am I missing something obvious? -Rick

I got the bookcase moved so I can see the Zigbee device. It's a Woolley SA-035-10A-ZB: https://www.aliexpress.us/item/3256805874315420.html It also has the number BSD17 on it. There's nothing in the instruction sheet that indicates a default timing function. Any thoughts? Thanks.

Unfortunately the switch is in a wall box behind a big heavy bookcase. I'll try to get access to it in the next couple days. I really should have made a note of the type of switch. Lesson learned. -Rick

Thanks. Previous logs: Four logs giving the time: [ Time] 19:52:30 60(0) preceeded by: Create Rest U7 [/rest/profiles/ns/3/connection] Create Rest U7 [/rest/profiles/ns/4/connection] Create Rest U7 [/rest/profiles/ns/0/connection] Before that there were a bunch more entries giving the time. Does this help? I would have uploaded the log, but I only printed a screen.

I recently added a Zigbee wall switch to control fans in my living room and it is generally working, but the fabs unexpectedly turn off after about half an hour. If I turn on the event viewer at level 3 I see this when the fans turn off: [D2D Event ] Event [ZB55785_001_1] [ST] [0] uom-78 prec = 0 [ZB55785_001_1] ST 0 (uom=78 prec=0) What is this telling me? Thanks! -Rick

UPDATE: I unplugged and re-plugged the PLM and the extra traffic is GONE! Hope it stays that way.
-
I tried it with and without the extra tap. No joy. In case it was the DZPA1 at fault, I tried to add a Minoston MP20Z and it failed too.
-
I have exactly the same issue, and, like you, I am seeing the traffic from 02 52 FF 80 a couple times a second. I don't have a spare PLM. Should I try to get one? I wonder if anyone else is seeing the same thing.

Thanks for the response. I did as you suggested, and here's what I saw: Fri 11/10/2023 06:39:50 AM : ---- Start Adding Devices - S2 Standard --- Fri 11/10/2023 06:39:50 AM : [ZWAVE-INCL-S2STD] Start Include with S0/S2 or non-secure Fri 11/10/2023 06:39:50 AM : [ZWAVE-INCL-S2STD] Added 'CommandAdded' callback 0x842032ca8 Fri 11/10/2023 06:39:50 AM : Z-Wave Listening for Z-Wave devices to add to the network Fri 11/10/2023 06:39:50 AM : [X10-RX ] 02 52 FF 80 Fri 11/10/2023 06:39:50 AM : [ X10] J/Status Request (10) Fri 11/10/2023 06:39:50 AM : [X10-RX ] 02 52 FF 80 Fri 11/10/2023 06:39:50 AM : [ X10] J/Status Request (10) Fri 11/10/2023 06:39:51 AM : [X10-RX ] 02 52 FF 80 Fri 11/10/2023 06:39:52 AM : [ X10] J/Status Request (10) Fri 11/10/2023 06:39:52 AM : [X10-RX ] 02 52 FF 80 There are many more "status request" lines, but no response from a Z-wave device. The DZPA1 was blinking amber, indicating that it was ready to be included. Thoughts?

I just attempted to add a Leviton DZPA-1 ON/OFF receptacle to my system and the system gets stuck adding a device to the Z-wave network. I tried another device and I got the same thing. I have other DZPA-1's in my network and I was able to add them with no trouble at all, so I know they are compatible. At this point it looks like I have lost the ability to add Z-wave devices. I can control Z-wave devices so that would imply that the dongle is working. I tried unplugging and re-plugging the Z-wave/Zigbee dongle and then restarting IoX, but it did not help. I'm running IoX 5.7.0. Any suggestions? Thanks. -Rick

I attempted to link a Sonoff S31 Lite ZB Zigbee smart plug with my Eisy and something jumped the track. It was recognized as "ZB440505.1 Main", and the interview process seemed to complete normally, but the first time I tried to control it I got "Platform_errors--7058" and "platform_errors--7123". I take it that this means it is not supported yet? Thanks for any insight on this. -Rick

Thanks, Techman. Actually, the solution was in that thread. See Geddy's post near the bottom. Sorry I didn't find that before starting a new thread. -Rick

Originally when I ran the IoX finder it would show me one IP address. A few weeks ago this changed and now I am seeing the IP address followed by port 8443, then "eisy.local.8443", but then an error message "not found" pops up. I can acknowledge the error message and log in with no trouble, but I am wondering what the message is about. Any ideas? Thanks! -Rick

I opened a ticket last week, but still no response. I am especially concerned that for the last couple of days when I try to check my tickets their website says "There has been a critical error on this website". I hope the folks at Universal Devices are OK. -Rick

At this point I have about 40 "unavailable" devices showing in my Zigbee network. The only way I can see to get rid of them is to delete then one at a time- which takes about 4 minutes each. Is there a simpler way? If i select multiple entries I no longer have the option to delete. Thanks. -Rick
-
I was having trouble adding a Zigbee extender, and I foolishly attempted to re-sync the network (Zigbee > Synchronize > New & deleted with interview). Now I see dozens of devices that say "unavailable". Example: ZB 51612,1 Unavailable, ZB60225.1 Unavailable, ZB 9819.1 Unavailable. I couldn't stop the interview process and finally had to reboot the Eisy to make it stop adding devices. What happened? How can I get rid of these entries? deleting them one at a time is going to take forever. Thanks for any info on this. -Rick

Thanks, but as mentioned in the linked thread, there is no information given as to how to install a certificate for the Eisy. Although portal is working, I prefer not to use it because: 1. I like to be independent of third-party services as much as possible. 2. If the portal is down I can't control my lights remotely 3. I don't use Alexa or Google assistant. Looks like I'll be implementing a VPN. I Do appreciate the help, though!!! -Rick

That worked! I'm up and running. -But now I'm curious- I would prefer to have UD Mobile connect directly instead of through the portal, but when I try it I get the message I reported in my first post: "Error (IOException) javax.net.ssl.SSLHandshaleException: java.security.cert.CertPathValidatorException:Trust anchor for certification path not found." Is it possible for UD mobile to work without the portal? I can live with the portal if I have to, but I would prefer not. At least I've got a workable solution now. Thanks for the help! -Rick
