  1. Just purchased a couple of the Withings devices for health monitoring. https://www.withings.com/us/en/store/?&utm_source=bing&utm_medium=cpc&utm_campaign=US_Search_Brand&utm_term=withings store&utm_content=Brand&gclsrc=3p.ds Specifically their sleep monitor could be used to control lighting, HVAC, alerts for medical emergency's etc. Lots of possibilities. https://www.withings.com/us/en/sleep They do have an API available for developers. http://developer.withings.com/ it's beyond me to do the actual NS development, so I'm hoping someone is already at work on this or thinking about it and a little encouragement might help! All there devices are wifi connected which should make integration with Polisy easier.
  2. I have installed maybe fifty of these over the last five years for clients and they continue to be the bane of my life. I don't think a single month has gone by with out one failing. It's always the same symptoms. one or more speed settings causes the fan to make a lot of noise and it's speed is very slow. After replacing the 2475f with a new one, everything runs fine until it fails again. I had to replace one for a client two weeks ago that had only be in use for about a year. The new fanlinc failed yesterday, with less than three weeks of service. Has anyone else had similar experiences and does anyone have suggestions or better yet has anyone identified the component or components that are failing on these things. I suspect its a cap, but without knowing for sure I hate to just start replacing parts without first checking with the experts.

  3. Thank you all for the input. I'll give the syntax changes a try.
  4. I must be missing the obvious, but I can't get Alexa to respond to Fan scenes. ISY 994i FW 5.0.10 FanLinc Scenes Light Low Medium High Each scene works with the linked KPL6, but when setup a voice pattern I can't get it to work. I have tried setting the notes field to "Fan Low" and then in my.iys.io / connectivity adding the scene and listing "Fan Low" as the spoken words. Then in Alexa.Amazon.com discovering devices. Fan low is discovered, but when I say Alexa, Fan Low all I get is a Duh Dun sound. The same is true if I say, "Fan Low, On." I did manage to get "Fan OFF" to work by simply giving the Fan Off scene a verbal name of "Fan" and then letting Alexa's nature Off do the rest, but Speed selection eludes me. Has anyone been able to make it work and if so...how? Thank you
  5. How or what are you all using to detect the boundary crossing? I understand setting up 5.x with a variable and using Pushover to send the status, but what detects the actual location of the phone and triggers the send? I am curious about both Android and iOS. Thank you.
  6. johnstonf, I'm sorry but I can't change facts, the ISY admin applet is 1.12k in size. Simple network management protocol (SNMP) isn't involved with running the ISY admin java applet. If you're seeing SNMP traffic related to ISY admin, then I would have to ask what MIB it's using? It's possible there is a MIB for ISY, but i've never seen it nor have I ever seen anything like an OID value, but then I've never sniffed the ISY traffic. /Shrug. That aside what problem are you trying to solve now? Is ISY admin running? Are you able to save your configuration once again?
  7. That is the application. It's a java applet and all you need to launch the admin interface.
  8. Johnstonf, That is the dashboard, I believe what you want is this: http://isy.universal....4/admin16.jnlp That is the link to the Mac admin console. Also in the picture above is your UUID, I would strongly suggest you either remove the picture or replace it with one that has the UUID occluded. Kaz
  9. bbuchanan99, Any chance this is Bob of Premise fame? Other than doing a restore with a known good ISY backup contacting UDI is a good call. It's worth double cheking that you have the non-secure check box on the M1XEP selected. Other than that, it should work since you are able to communicate with the ELK M1 via ElkRP2.
  10. I'd like to say thank you to both Larryllix and Michel. Michel I'll take a look at Polyglot. Kaz
  11. I am new to ISY, but learning as I go. I installed EventGhost and the Nest plugin as described. I am using STATE variables and some work while others don't seem to do much. ACCoolVar never changes in value. Is this a read only variable? I know the state is TRUE when the AC is running as I can see that in EventGhost, but in ISY variables it always shows 0. Also I was wondering if you could post some instructions on how to configure Tasker with AutoLocation to use the at home concept for setting up a geofence. Thank you so much.
