  1. You can use the http port 80 to test, and since this is all internal to your network do you really need https? Sent from my Nexus 7 using Tapatalk
  2. When you say the scene goes off then on, what is changing the scene? A program, manually at the switch, toggling the scene in the Admin Console or from mobilinc or? Sent from my Nexus 7 using Tapatalk
  3. Thanks Xathros, that was the one I was looking for.
  4. Someone posted about having a program to set user codes on schlage's in the last few weeks but I don't remember the specifics. For now I just have the codes always there and have notifications sent when they are used.
  5. Here is my program. The s.MS.FRO.Dark is 1 when I want the light to come on, Also, the door sensor is a open/close sensor with the jumper removed (2 scene mode) so it only turns the scene on, not off, and I have a separate timer program to turn the light off. The only issue with this that I have found is if it's light and I do turn the light on, the sensors will turn the light off. I'm trying to perfect the programs, but not quite there yet... AL FRO Enable Auto On - [ID 0008][Parent 0017] If $s.MS.FRO.Dark is not 0 Then In Scene 'Z-Motion / FamilyRoomOutsideMS-Senso' Set 'Outside / BackYard / FamilyRoomDoorOutside' 100% (On Level) In Scene 'DoorsAndGates / FamilyRoomDoor-Opened' Set 'Outside / BackYard / FamilyRoomDoorOutside' 100% (On Level) Else In Scene 'Z-Motion / FamilyRoomOutsideMS-Senso' Set 'Outside / BackYard / FamilyRoomDoorOutside' 0% (On Level) In Scene 'DoorsAndGates / FamilyRoomDoor-Opened' Set 'Outside / BackYard / FamilyRoomDoorOutside' 0% (On Level)
  6. In the adjust scene, select the sensor in the top selection, not the scene itself. I can post a pic when I'm at my computer. Sent from my Nexus 7 using Tapatalk
  7. When you adjust the scene it doesn't need to update the sensor, only the device that it controls. I know it works because that's how I do it.
  8. I prefer a scene because I want it on instantaneously, then use a program to adjust the device on value to zero in the scene when I don't want it to turn on. I can post my programs if you are interested. But this would be easier if we could disable a device in a scene: http://udi.ideascale.com/a/dtd/Allow-disabling-a-device-in-a-program/83037-32911
  9. I thought you did get unlocked notification for each lock? There may be difference with how the 2 different brands report. You'll have to watch the event log to see what they report.
  10. If both are unlocked and one of them is then locked the if will be true.
  11. Allowing a program to disable a device would be a good feature that I've always wanted, so I created a request here: http://udi.ideascale.com/a/dtd/Allow-disabling-a-device-in-a-program/83037-32911
  12. Why not put them all in a scene and turn the scene on and off?
  13. You could create another scene with all the buttons as responders, then a program that turns that scene off if any of the buttons are on.
  14. Yes, to access the camera from outside your network. You can test tinycam without port forwarding using the ip address inside your lan. Thanks to everyone else for the other info!
  15. I'm sure those will work fine with the apps I mentioned. You can try on your internal network before adding a port forward for outside your network. I have the old version and they had dynamic dns configuration in them as well, but I didn't use it since I have a different way. It seems like a lot to setup port forwarding and dynamic dns, but it's not hard and there are lots of good post ls about it on here, and maybe a wiki article. Sent from my Nexus 7 using Tapatalk
  16. The insteon cameras are just relabeled foscam's. There are a bunch of good Android camera apps. I use tinycam, but ip cam viewer is also very good.
  17. Yes mobilinc only supports Geofence on iOS. For Android you can use Tasker. Sent from my Nexus 7 using Tapatalk
  18. The port is an issue, and not sure if you have TLS enabled or not. Try these settings: http://www.cox.com/residential/support/phone/article.cox?articleId=a8fb24c0-6440-11df-ccef-000000000000 server : smtp.cox.net Outgoing SMTP Port: 587 with TLS enabled 465 with SSL enabled and check the authentication box, if available 25 for no security Note: Cox does not recommend the use of unsecure ports.
  19. For sure. Thanks for making my point! Sent from my Nexus 7 using Tapatalk
  20. Post ALL of your apple mail ISY smtp settings and I'm sure someone that knows apple mail will point out what needs changed. Sent from my Nexus 7 using Tapatalk
  21. Everyone "gets" your request, you do not get or acknowledge that this request does not fit into a scene definition. If you would have pushed your request for a new feature instead of pushing for a enhancement to a silly limitation would get much further. What you see as a silly limitation, most see as a great feature. But with your vast experience in insteon and home automation, I'm sure that most are wrong. Sent from my Nexus 7 using Tapatalk
  22. I would do a full reset, then restore device.
  23. Z-Wave wave is becoming very popular. I have deadbolts, thermostats, and multi-sensors. But no iOS, Android only.
  24. I'm pretty sure you can set the on level to zero for the scene, just not the local on level? I do this for some motion sensor controlled scenes and it has worked for me. Sent from my Nexus 7 using Tapatalk
  25. Received my Trane's today, installed two of them and working great. Only issue was I could not enroll the second one that needs to communicate thru the first one, so I hooked it up in the first ones location, enrolled it, then moved it back to its real location and heal network fixed up the routes. Not enough time tonight to check if it works as a repeater for my locks, will test that when I have time to make sure it's robust. Thanks for the tips, very happy so far. Just need to sell the never used 2441THs since SH would not exchange them since I bought them over 30 days ago... Sent from my Nexus 7 using Tapatalk
