  1. On the eisy system settings for Z-Wave and Zigbee support there are 3 choices (on, off and auto). I was wondering what the difference between on and auto are. I haven't been able to fine any reference to these settings. Thanks for any information.

  2. It turns out that the eisy was busy trying to communicate with zwave devices that were no longer available. So I think it just didn't have the resources available to start up. After clearing the problem with zwave it did start up and has been working fine since than. Thank you for taking a look. I should have updated this post.

  3. Hi, AVRemote works great with TiVo. Also worked great for my Denon. I would like to request if possible support for Samsung TVs and sound bars. Specifically the OLED 95d series TVs and the Q990D sound bar. Thanks for any interest.

  4. I did open a ticket and @Michaelwas quickly able to resolve the problem. Turns out that after my move to a new location I no longer required the Z-wave devices that were previously installed in the eisy. So basically as I understand it the eisy was trying to communicate with those devices and caused the system to be busy all the time retrying to connect to those devices.

    All is working great now.

  5. I installed AvRemote but initially it fails to install. It remains in disconnected state. It did become connected at one point but caused the eisy to display the system busy window over and over again which would go on forever. It worked fine from the main screen but programs would go busy but would not work.

    V 5.8.4

    Thanks Gary

  6. Why wont these stop. Reloaded all Nodes Servers, Rebooted sever times. These will go on forever.

Any suggestion would be apricated. Thanks

UPDATE: The repeating System Busy Displays were cause by NS AVRemote.

  7. I was shutting down the eisy with 6 clicks of the power bottom, but I probably missed doing 6 so I tried 6 again and then after that the node servers stayed disconnected. So basically my fault. Glad there was a reinstall plugins button. Reloaded each node server maintaining the configuration settings.

    Thanks

  8. Hi, I just gave it a try and everything seems to be working. When the car went to sleep the NS, within the 10 min poll period  registered that the car was offline. After waking the car up with a request from the phone app the NS acquired all the data after the 10 min poll period. All the information looks to be present. However, I tried some of the commands like Honk Horn and they don't seem to work even though the car is awake Thanks so much for all your hard work on this difficult NS.

  9. I didn't enable  multi factor authorization but I understand that it will default to sending a code to my registered email. I'm not sure if that would have any effect on my Unifi presence as I have set up a user id specifically for the eisy. My config only has local information. Does multi factor authorization pertain to local login to the controller or just their web access?

  10. UPDATE!

Good news. I powered down the eisy and plugged the dongle into a different usb port and now Zigbee is working. I had done a power reset before but didn't change the dongle usb port. Strangely Z-wave was always working while plugged into the original usb port. Can't explain why it worked initially but didn't work after a Zigbee factory reset in that usb port.

  11. I just got my first Hue bulb and it paired to the eisy Zigbee right away. But after doing a Factory Reset Zigbee Dongle I am no longer able to pair the bulb. Tried rebooting the eisy sever times and did a factory reset on the bulb but still can't get it to pair. I have no other Zigbee devices to try. Any thoughts would be apricated. Seems to be associated with doing the factory reset on the dongle.

    Thanks Gary

    eisy  IoX v.5.8.3

I got these errors from the IoX error log at the time I put Zigbee into pairing mode.
