another variation on upgrade problems
I am not sure why, but after using Brave instead of safari, I was able to see all of my nodes. Then trying again in safari and the nodes populated. Strange As far as the admin console goes, nothing has populated anything when logging into the LAN. Even on the config tag system settings, all entries are blank. I did log into the cloud option and was able to see my system. I am thinking this is due to the RAM limitations of the polisy, so my options i guess are use the cloud to get admin console or buy an EISY. I was waiting for some of the more tech savvy among us to share their insights before i decide what to do.

After logging into admin console, everything would just freeze as in pic related. I just did the update and that has since resolved the issue. Thanks for getting back to me.

Is there a video somewhere that shows the steps to get the parameters into admin console for PG3x nodes?
I am not sure if I selected that option, but when I look at network resources, they are all still there.

Is there a video somewhere that shows the steps to get the parameters into admin console for PG3x nodes?
I was able to get my Sonos going and it sees all zones now. I can not yet get the itch to load the parameters. Can someone clue me in on Node address vs primary node address?

Is there a video somewhere that shows the steps to get the parameters into admin console for PG3x nodes?
Hi, Looking for video tutorials for how to get the parameters of the nodes to populate in the admin console. Since the initial upgrade to Polisy, I have lost all of the functionality of my network resources that controlled my Sonos and itach. I am able to get the nodes via polyglot 3x and see them on the admin console screen, but am struggling to get the fields to populate when I click on the nodes. Any help is appreciated.

Noob questions and advice
Did you want to sell those? I don't have need for all of them currently but if we can agree on a price, I'd take all of them to make it less hassle for you to piecemeal sell them.

Has anyone used the rs-232 port on the polisy yet?
ok. I may be using the wrong nomenclature. Micheal, rather patiently, walked me through my setup not too long ago. I have not eliminated my Isy yet and still use it and the polisy and they communicate as I have some of the plugins that I installed on poliSy that show up on my admin controls of the ISY. If that makes sense. So my question then is should I migrate the ISY to the polisy and disconnect the ISY, if I understand you.

My Isy is connected to the PLM and the polisy is just plugged into a switch.

Has anyone used the rs-232 port on the polisy yet?
I started doing as Javi has done an apply a static IP on the router end and device end. Aside from Sonos everything lets my assign static Ip on the device also so it saves some frustration downstream after you get everything in place.

itach is who I was thinking of. I was really hoping to be able to do this through the polisy or the Pi as I own them already but have been considering an Itach previously for a long time to solve this issue. The argument in my mind has always been why not dump that 100+ into a new receiver without a need for a work around. Knowing full well I would repurpose the old receiver again and start the cycle over. Thanks everyone.

I have a 2134s that is linked to my ISY but not physically connected to my Polisy if that answers your question. Thanks for responding also. I don't know if harmony bought the company that had inline Ethernet, wired and wireless with either IR blaster out or serial out. I can't find them online line now they were yellow for wireless and red for wired I believe

I have an old Denon 3805 I would like to be able to turn on and off and maybe use volume controls if possible. I also have a Pi with home bridge I could use but was looking for the path of least resistance. Any help is appreciated.

UD Mobile Issues
Hi, Thanks for getting back so quick. I stepped out and now it seems to work. I did an an access point that I think may be not quite as integrated as it should for full functionality but I haven't got to it yet as I am adding another AP today and will address both at once. cheers, Rick

2 wire switches in a 3 pole
No, sorry I told you wrong. I didn't remember correctly. There are traveler lines but no neutral at least in one box. I pulled that switch to see. The other had a traveler but was wired incorrectly so it is dependent on the upstream switch. I would have to find the light where the power comes in and repurpose a line to make a functional neutral then just use the standard 2477D switch. Prior to your response I realized what youre saying about the downstream switch not getting power to function correctly. Thank you Brian for helping me sort this out. I was going off memory and now I have 2@2474 switches I need to return. And still need to find the light where the power comes in.

2 wire switches in a 3 pole
One of my outlets doesn't have a traveler so it's not a true three way. Its been a couple years since I messed with them and I struggled for a few days trying to get standard 3 way switches to work. I think the second switch location is an ad hoc afterthought.

2 wire switches in a 3 pole
2474DWH is the model. I know I can make them controllers for each other. I guess I need to find the upstream hot and put the load on that and cap the red wire in the downstream is my thinking, but I can see having the downstream switch with the load wired also. I guess the scene will be doing the work in either configuration if I understand this correctly

I was going to install Insteon 2 wire switches

2 wire switches in a 3 pole
has any one done this? I wonder as I have one switch that has to be hot for the light to come on. Out of frustration, with standard switches, I just wired the one bypassing the switch so the other wasn't dependent on that one being on. So one switch is a dummy and the other works like a single pole. I don't know if I should wire either with the loads capped or use the load on the switch on one and make the other controller responder via a scene? any thoughts or insight would be appreciated
