  1. ABLE1 Use the drop down on Time is and change it to From to set a range. Kush
  2. Thanks for the response Wes, I must have very poor 5ghz network coverage around my home for MobiLinc to stay connected. I have been getting so many disconnects lately MobiLinc has been almost unusable. This started more recently so it could also be a problem with my router. I'll try my 2.4ghz network to see if there is any improvement. Mike
  3. Wes, i get get this same error message quite often myself when connected to my ISY on my local network. Seems to happen even more when I have a weak WiFi signal or while on cellular. I do not have the MobiLinc Connect portal but do have UDI's portal. Sometimes while the app is open, I'm able to control one device, then suddenly can't control the next and get this error message. Mike

  5. johnmsch I have the same as you, an iPhone 6S, iOS 9.3 and AT&T. I use both Pushover and Prowl (but prefer Pushover) and have folders controlled by variables so I can easily switch between them should there be any problems. I also have different sounds assigned to things like doors open/close, motion detected, or entering/exiting my home area with MobiLinc. I still use texts or email but for critical things like dead batteries, water leaks, or motion when away etc.
  6. Problem solved! Sorry for the delay everyone. I had to reconfigure miles of cable in my computer room. The other morning, while doing my daily routine of reading my coffee and drinking my internet, my connection suddenly froze, then watched as the lights on my modem, router, switches, and ISY all faded to black. Turns out, the battery in the UPS that is supposed to “protect” that equipment from surges and power failures died without warning and is what has been causing my intermittent problems. I never imagined the issues I was having for at least the past month were being caused by the UPS battery failing, so apparently there are some UPS’s with design flaws. I have 3 other USP’s from different manufacturers and can’t wait to see what surprises they have in store for me when their batteries fail! Thanks to all that helped! Kush Stusviews Yeah, I never knew either, but if your internet is not working and ISY tries to Syncronize to the time server, you’ll see a red ! to the left of “NTP Server”.
  7. Those were the default settings when I upgraded the firmware to 4.3.26 but still had the intermittent issue. I just lowered them last week because (per another thread here) TLS 1.2 and ALL was causing the OP's Mobilinc to take a LONG time connecting to ISY. I still have a 4S so my connection speed was pretty slow. Michel said in the thread it was ok to lower them to find a balance between Speed and Security. By the way Jerlands, thank you so much for your time in trying to help me figure this out. I've been dealing with this frustrating issue for a while now. I really appreciate it. Kush
  8. I just checked my router and everything seems to be ok there. I do have all my network devices assigned a fixed IP address in the router. Earlier today, I did uncheck DHCP on the ISY and entered the fixed IP address and 8.8.4.4 as the DNS server but didn't seem to make a difference.
  9. Not sure I know what you mean by " the security you have installed on your gateway or any routers". I have a Cisco E3000 router I've had for about 2-3 years now. I also have quite a few other things on my network like web cams, 2 servers, an Echo etc. connected to the router that I can access with no problems. All worked fine up until a month or so ago. I did try different security settings on the ISY and still the same intermittent problem. Only with the ISY tho. All other devices on my network are working fine. It seems to be an intermittent problem with the ISY connecting to the servers. I even get the red ! when the ISY fails to synchronize with the NTP server.
  10. Jerlands, I've been using yahoo mail since getting my ISY almost 2 years ago and never had a problem like this. I could see your point with sending email notifications and text messages, but I didn't think Network Resources would use yahoo mail for sending Pushover notifications. When I have the problem, all are affected. Would Network Resources also use the yahoo servers? Kush
  11. Hi all, I wasn't sure where to post this, so I apologize if it's not in the correct forum. Lately I've been having intermittent outgoing connection issues with my ISY994i and I hope someone here can tell me where else to look or where the problem could be. I'm running the latest firmware 4.3.26, and everything else on the ISY has been running great. This issue just started maybe a month to a month and a half ago. The problem is, Pushover notifications, email notifications or text notifications will work fine most of the time, then suddenly quit working for a while or work intermittently. While manually testing during a failure, sometimes they will send, other times not, then suddenly start working reliably again. I don't have any issues with my internet connection on my computers, iPhones or iPads in the house and have speeds well over 80Mb/s. I've tried to increase and/or decrease Timeout settings in both Network Resources and Emails/Notifications. My ISY has a fixed IP address and the DNS is set to 8.8.4.4 but also tried 8.8.8.8, and Comcast's 75.75.75.75. I don't have a certificate installed and I only use MobiLinc to access the ISY with medium Security. I have tried to both raise/lower the Security, but still have the intermittent problem. I can't figure out why I would just start having this problem after running fine for at least a year. Thanks in advance for any help Kush
  12. LeeG Sorry, the relay reporting On was my fault. I switched the relay to Latching in an effort to cause the failure. I will leave things as is (Relay Off) for now, and hope I can capture something in an event trace. For now, there isn’t much I can do. Thank you for your time. If I continue to have issues on this or I am able to capture an event trace, I’ll be sure and post it here. Thank You Kush
  13. LeeG Very sorry for the delayed response. There has finally been some decent motorcycle weather around here so I've been busy working on that. Sorry about the confusion. I did install wired alarm systems back when I was young, so that is how I am used to referring to them. An alarm system could use either NO or NC magnetic switches. NO circuits (with magnet near switch) would be wired in parallel so when a door opened (magnet moved away) it completed or close the circuit. Problem with NO is wires could easily be cut and never trigger the alarm. NC (with magnet near switch) wired in series was always much better to use because if a wire were to be cut anywhere along the length of the circuit, it would trigger the alarm. Since I do not use the relay of the IOLinc, would it help avoid the query issue if I checked “Relay Follows Input” with my current set up? 14. Thanks everyone for all your help and suggestions. I now have a good understanding of what probably happened. Jimbo, thanks for the tip, I'll try that for now. LeeG, thanks for the expaination, I think as soon as the weather warms up, I'll rewire the garage to use NO magnetic switches. I also like Teken's suggestion that if the ISY reboots, I would be sent a confirmation that the doors were closed. Thanks Again Kush
  15. Hello Teken and Xathros , Thanks for the quick replies! Both garage doors and 1 service door each have a NC magnetic switch. They are connected in series in a Closed circuit loop to 1 IOLinc – Sensor terminals. I then created a program so that when any door is opened, either from a garage door opener or service door, a Pushover Notification is sent, then the garage lights are turned on for 10 minutes, then off unless Motion is detected. The status in the ISY does show ON when all doors are CLOSED. I do not have Trigger Reverse checked in Options I do not use the RELAY of the IOLinc at all due to the ALL ON issue. (I’ve had 1 unreported ALL ON after installing the Motion Sensor, but haven’t had another since inserting a 2 sec delay) Both garage door magnet switches are as close as they could possibly get. (Nearly resting on top of each other) The service door magnet had issues at one time due to the weather causing the wood frame to swell, so I set it up so the gap can be adjusted. This closed loop was used for a wireless alarm system before Insteon. I do not believe the wind would have cause the loop to open, if it did, even for an instant, it should have triggered the program to turn on the garage lights. I also use an ApplianceLinc to control the Garage Door Opener Power with MobiLinc and a (Unreliable) geofence. (I do have an ibeacon but don’t know enough about the RPi to get that working!) My garage set up has been working fairly well for at least a few weeks now until this query issue had me thinking someone was in the garage. The ISY did not reboot and has been running continuously for at least a few weeks. Thanks again KUSH
