I'm hoping for a working solution for LiFX. I just did their strip lighting for my kitchen under cabinet lighting. I was debating between Hue and LiFX. Had LiFX before and liked it. Went to install the node server and nothing. Can't get it to work. Then a few days later, the Hue integration is announced. Argh

Yes, program 1 only runs when I arrive home and the variable changes to 1. So every time I arrive home, it will tell program 2 to run. Program two will only run if it is between sunset and sunrise the next day. After creating program 2, you have to right click and disable it otherwise it will automatically run at sunset each night. Even though it is disabled, it will still run when program 1 tells it to. I posted my exact programs below. Hope it makes sense. It's late and I'm half asleep! I just went through this. You have to create two programs. FIrst program: If State Variable _ 1 Then Run program 2 (if) Program 2 is disabled: If From Sunset To Sunrise (next day) Then Set lights on

I've been having the same enter/exit simultaneous issue for about a month now. I did submit a ticket. It has been extremely frustrating as several times it has logged my exit, but then immediately sends an enter to my Polisy. This causes my garage to open automatically. So there have been a couple times my garage has been open when no one is home. I only have it open the garage when I enter my geofence, so at least the alarm is still set and doors are locked. I also have a notification set to alert me if garage is open for 5 minutes. So I eventually catch the problem. But I still don't like my garage open for 5 minutes. It's been a minor annoying until today. My wife and I just arrived home and were unloading groceries. Her phone woke up when we were in the garage and triggered an enter and then an exit. This caused the garage door to close on our cars lift gate. I'm not happy right now. This problem really needs to be resolved. It was working so well before and was incredibly reliable. Looks like some iOS change that has caused it. Really frustrating.

I do leave it running in the background. It was working reliably until a few versions ago when the app crash was occurring. But now that the crash seems to be resolved, I am still having weird geofence issues. Sometimes it won't trigger at all and the logs don't show that it entered or exited. Other times it will trigger when I cross and the logs show that it communicates back to change the variable, but the variable doesn't change. Two days ago, after I was already 15 minutes out from my geofence, it triggered that I left, but then immediately triggered that I entered. I was nowhere near my geofence. Probably 8 miles away. And other times it works flawlessly. It's driving me nuts. It's just as crazy on my wife's iPhone and her service provider is different so it shouldn't be the cell service. It could be that I live near a portal to hell and that is screwing with the GPS/cell. That's my only theory so far. The problems aren't consistent and I can't identify any pattern.

Any updates on the geofence not working? I've updated to the latest TestFlight version on two different iPhones but am still having numerous random geofence issues. Just wanted to see if others are still having issues or if it has become reliable for you again? I haven't submitted a ticket yet but plan on it if the issue has been resolved for others.

This update caused my Disabled programs to re-enable this time. But not last time. Didn't know this was a problem! My garage kept opening and closing repeatedly, my alarm wouldn't turn off, lights kept turning off. It was a mess for about 10+ minutes before I found all the re-enabled programs. WAF went down several notches tonight!

Awesome! No problem. I will wait until they are able to help me out. I don't want to mess anything up further. I am just happy to know we have a quick fix. UD support is awesome.

@JTsao Your commands did get the web interface working again. Thanks for that. I did a "Migrate from PG3 Backup" again. When PG3x came back on line, all node servers showed connected. But it was lying. No data is making it in IoX. If I try to restart any of the node servers, they disconnect, never to work again! I did download my logs though and am including them in my ticket to help UD troubleshoot the problem. Thanks for your help!

Chrome says, "This site can't be reached" "192.168.0.120 refused to connect. Yes, I have a DHCP IP reservation for the mac address of Polisy. I have Polisy hardwired, not using wifi. I have also checked my firewall logs and Polisy is not being blocked. I have not updated or made changes to my firewall in the last few weeks. The only thing that has changed is the migration I did for PG3x and now PG3x doesn't work. @dbuss Thanks for the info. I gave it a shot but didn't work.

I can't reach the web interface of PG3x at all. I've tried safari and chrome and they both can't connect. Chrome says it refused to connect. Safari says can't connect to server. I do have a static reservation in my firewall/router for Polisy. I am able to reach the admin console without problem. It's just the PG3x web interface that I can no longer reach. @Geddy By resets I meant power cycles/restarts. When I was able to connect to the PG3x web interface, I did try to start and stop the individual node servers. Also tried to to reinstall the node servers in current location. But nothing worked. Just wanted to post this on the forum to see if there was anything I missed before bugging the guys at UD with a ticket. But I am definitely at the point of submitting a ticket. @DennisC Yes that is what I am doing. I have the URL saved in my browser and have been using it successfully for a while now. I just double checked it and it is properly formatted.

Thanks @MrBill. I did see the other thread regarding similar issues and the migration process. I've been scouring the forums all night trying to find a solution. @DennisC - Along with my numerous restarts, I also completely pulled power last night to no avail. When I was able to get into PG3x, I tried to manually start the node servers. It would tell me they were already running. According to the log they were also running. But, the main PG3x screen would show them all offline and none of them were connected to IoX. Couldn't see any status of any node server in admin console. Unfortunately, after a few more resets, I have completely lost the ability to connect via the web interface.

Ok, I'll admit it, I had no reason to upgrade PG3 to PG3x. I was bored and saw the upgrade path was now available. So I did it and now I can't reach PG3x via the web interface and nothing is populating in IoX. I'm going to submit a ticket but hoping someone can help me solve it before I tie up the UD guys. Here's the steps I went though: - clicked https://polisy.local:8443/rest/pg3x.enable about a week ago. Had me log in and then gave me the following XML error. "This XML file does not appear to have any style information associated with it. The document tree is shown below." Nothing else was listed on the page. - Since I kept getting the error, I just ignored it. PG3 still showed as installed and was working fine. Updated Polisy to 5.6.0 on Friday. After the update, I rebooted Polisy and PG3X now shows up. - Logged in and two node servers were offline. Couldn't reboot them or do anything with them. They were just frozen. Rebooted Polisy again and now all node servers were offline. I could stop them and restart them but their status showed them all offline and they weren't reporting into IoX. Rebooted again and now I can't even get to the PG3x web interface. - SSH into Polisy. PG3x package shows 3.1.25. In services, I have a pg3 and polyglot listed. I don't see pg3x service. Anyone have any ideas what I can try next? I do have backups of everything just in case I need to do a restore. Thanks in advance for any help!

Same here on my Polisy. I have a program that turns a light on at 9PM every night and then turns it off at sunrise. It's been running fine for years. Last night, 3/12 it never turned on at 9. It says its next run time is 3/13 @ 9. Looks like time based programs took the night off on Polisy.
