  1. This is what I have in my HA. Heat-Cool with a range: Simple Thermostat Card configuration
  2. I started with X10 in the late 80's and then in 2014 I discovered the wonderful existence of the ISY994i, which allowed me to evolve to a few Insteon devices. Unfortunately my Insteon PLM broke soon afterwards and then I decided to experience with Zwave. Eventually my whole home became Zwave, dropping Insteon. Of course I realize that Insteon is the core of almost all ISY-Polisy-Eisy users but the IOX programing and the out-of-this-world customer support of UD kept me, even with only Zwave, and of course I evolved to Eisy. The stength and weakness of Zwave is that there are multiple manfacturers. That means that one is not dependent on one source, but it also means that the quality and features between products can vary significantly. I often heard the criticism that Zwave can be slow, especially when different devices are linked (such as a virtual 3-way). However I discovered the Zwave Association feature and that makes this immediate, just like with Insteon. While I have Google Home and Alexa throughout our home, and use voice control, and also use my Iphone, I am more of a computer guy with 3 computers in the home. That is where I discovered Home Assistant which allows me to keep HA open all the time, unlike IoX which is not made to keep open contimuously. With @shbatm 's ISY Integration I had the best of both worlds. Over time I added Zigbee and numerous Integrations to HA and, because I no longer have Insteon, I ported all my devices to HA. However for all you Insteon users the news that HA can now be added to Eisy is excellent news. You get HA but also the IoX programing and more than anything the top UD customer support. There is zero customer support with HA and only the forum.
  3. There is another way to look at this. Non-community systems can go out of business, make changes for the purpose of making you pay more, remove the public API (MyQ !!!). The vast world of HA makes me think that it will be around for a long time and one day something better will come. I think that Jeff Bezos once said that all businesses, including Amazon, will one day disappear.
  4. This is not specific to the MyQ Nodeserver. Home Assistant has the same issue and apparently same with Homebridge. It appears that MyQ deliberately blocks 3rd party applications to connect. My assumption is that MyQ wants to develop/promote their own paid ecosystem.
  5. I don't remember if I moved my user data manually or if it even moved at all, but my memory shows only 2 % used. My assumption is that everything moved to the ssd,
  6. Hi there, it has generally been rock solid, using both Zwave and Zigbee. There have been 3 or 4 times that Zwave did not respond and I resolved that by power cycling the Yellow Box and removing the Zooz 800 dongle for a few seconds. In fact, I put the Yellow Box on a Kasa Wifi plug which allows me to power cycle it when I am not at home, through the Kasa App on my Iphone. BTW I use the Google Drive backup integration so that I always have 2 backup locations in case anything goes wrong and I do daily backups. Lastly, though not an absolute need, I added a ssd in the Yellow Box to future proof the memory.
  7. Thanks for your interest but it has been sold.
  8. Eisy has been sold.
  9. I have an eisy for sale, UD Zwave dongle included. $ 200 + shipping. Send me a pm if interested
  10. Have you considered using the HA Solaredge integration directly https://www.home-assistant.io/integrations/solaredge/ ?
  11. I still have a couple of these, but they are old Zwave 300 and I replaced them with Kasa light bulbs. I noticed that there are ZigBee Smart Light Bulb Sockets on the market. There even may be equivalent wifi devices. I also found these on the internet but $ 50 seems expensive and they are different from the ones I have.
  12. To make sure that I understand : Is the Blueprint enough to make this work ? I am not sure that I am comfortable with a 'flash' manoeuvre and opening the device. With my limited technical knowledge, that might be too risky.
  13. I added the Zen 32 as well, but I have not yet configured the 4 Scene buttons. I also found out that if one wants automate for when one device goes ON, another device goes ON as well, then in Trigger better use State (and not device).
  14. I had first tried to use my 'old' Zooz 700 stick which did not work on HA. I also then connected the stick to Complexity Studio but got totally lost. That is when I purchased the 800 stick which was included in HA like a charm.
