  1. Yes I was going to give an in depth description of my experience when all issues are determined, but can briefly say I found a faulty circuit breaker as a prime issue
  2. well I would agree except it always works first couple of times, just subseqeunt trys, and the led light startsblinking, then no longer works. I always assumed that the red blinking light meant traffic, but not sure
  3. I will start with the symptom, then comment on some recent issues below: Symptom. When I use my remote wireless switch to turn on a scene, it works, but if I turn it on and off several times, the switch will blink red like there is insteon (or maybe other ) traffic, and the switch will no longer control the scene. When is stops blinking, the last setting works and switch works as normal. Why is this important as not real use case, well I am debugging to see if I still have issues , after the following. · I recently had solar and powerwall 3s installed and had several lights on dimmers that were blinking · I determined that the lights that were blinking were all on the same circuit, so I replaced the circuit breaker and things got MUCH better · I had a lamplink go bad and it was sending out insteon traffic, that lamplink is now removed · I still have one dimmer that slightly flicker on low level setting (controls under cabinet LED strip). So, I am just seeing if I still have problems. Maybe having the switch blink red if there are a lot of subsequent presses is typical, but I don’t seem to remember that before all of this occurred, but I may be wrong and this may be typical
  4. Lamplinc dimmer, pulled it out problem stopped, I will try replacing later today as I have others...this one is probably pretty old. Thanks much
  5. how do I do that? Oh my, you are correect , one device is changing status. I guess that means its going bad?
  6. I have a scene in the mobile app that the status constantly flips between zero and 5% every couple of seconds. It does not turn on any lights in the scene, only showing on the app, but it seems to me this may be an indication of a problem. Perhaps with one of the devices in the scene? I have disabled a few devices to see if it helps, but so far no success.
  7. OK, I am running both versions and last two days the Kasa smart plugs did not activate per my porgram untill I restarted both of the plugins, should I only run one? This is a real PITA. @Jimbo.Automates seems awfully quiet these day!
  8. I have an old mini inteon remote that the address has worn off. Is there a way to add it with out knowing the address?
  9. I can report that does indeed work, and reproted also in the Yolink thread, thanks
  10. In other thread I asked this question: "BTW if I set the youlink "on Level" to say 50%, when I trigger the scene via the KPL it shoud come on at 50% correct? (i.e. not controlling the brighness via the KPL, but just setting the "on level")" I can report that does indeed work
  11. It turns out that all of my flicker lights are on one breaker. Do you think the breaker is going bad?...although happened after Powerwall installation so kind of coincidental
  12. BTW if I set the youlink "on Level" to say 50%, when I trigger the scene via the KPL it shoud come on at 50% correct? (i.e. not controlling the brighness via the KPL, but just setting the "on level")
  13. OK, makes sense, thanks!
  14. agreed, I have the exact same issuse and would like to reolve, but right now the one bothering my wife, then of course me, is the non-smare dimmer flickering, so again if you could provide a model number of the inovelli matter switches, much appreciated
  15. my problem is lot of flicker at low setting on a under cabinet strip LED, would love to solve the issue
  16. actually, In my most critical situation I don’t even care it they are "smart" or not, don’t even need isy, just need a reliable dimmer (non-smart), can you tell me the model number? If they make a non-smart version even better and probably cheaper, but will pay whatever
  17. sorry, not clear to me if you are saying the inovelli matter switches are solving this or not? If they are not familar with these switches, will they work with standard polisy or do I need to upgrade (Zmatter, Eisy)?
  18. Does anyone know if a Kasa Dimmer switch will dim if in an Insteon Scene with dimming controlled by a Keypad button (like Insteon Dimmers do)?
  19. OH MY! so ther is no dimmer that is working with Powerwall 3?
  20. Where did you get the switch? I have one flickering that I don’t even care if it was a smart switch. I just want to use it like a regular dimmer to eliminate the flickering that I’m getting.
  21. OK beta worked to add a new Kasa, but after adding it, If I change name in the Kasa app it does not change in the NS. How do I change the name?
  22. thanks! Can I have both a production and beta version running at the same time?
  23. OK, is there no support for KASA? I have been asking for a simple answer of how to add new KASA devices but it seems the NS author has no answers. Do I need to abandon KASA?
  24. well, I answered my own questions. I installed the Yolink dimmer in a scene and while Insteon keypads will turn it on and off, holding the keypad button does NOT dim the Yolink
