just sent you the log file

It was/is, and did not work but after a while it changed. Not sure what I did. as it was always ture and did not work initially. Is there a way to refresh it or if it is always true changing the name in the app should happen automatically?
-
I seem to remember last time I changed the name of one of my Kasa smart plugs on my Kasa phone app it was reflected in the NS and AC, but that is not happening now. How do I get the NS to recognize the name changes? I have restarted the NS a couple of times Joe

good question. The lights are controlled by a switch that needs to be on all of the time as other thing are on the circuit, so the light need to have embedded in-line insteon dimmers, and I thought the micro dimmers were only if there was a switch at the light

Sorry, I mean this style: https://www.amazon.com/Dimmable-Edison-Equivalent-Standard-Filament/dp/B09QPYKZ3H/ref=sr_1_1_sspa?crid=23ARQ9TJS38TP&keywords=edison%2Bbulbs&qid=1674658280&sprefix=edison%2Caps%2C142&sr=8-1-spons&spLa=ZW5jcnlwdGVkUXVhbGlmaWVyPUExUzlTTzJPUkFHME9IJmVuY3J5cHRlZElkPUExMDIzNzIzMkFQRTVBUDVGV082TCZlbmNyeXB0ZWRBZElkPUEwMTgwOTAwMTlJN1FIOTRRQjM0NSZ3aWRnZXROYW1lPXNwX2F0ZiZhY3Rpb249Y2xpY2tSZWRpcmVjdCZkb05vdExvZ0NsaWNrPXRydWU&th=1

Thanks. They look similar to the Kasa ones, but was looking for Edison style, but good to know
-
Yea, hear good things about Hue, but just didn't want to add yet another hub. Thx Joe-

Is there any node server for edison style light bulbs. I have KASA and works great, however the edison (filament style) bulbs seems to be discontinued. There are many Edison style smart bulbs (the market seems to be be flooded with them lately), but not sure if any are controlled by polisy like Kasa is. Thx Joe

just realized mine is down. Oh My!
-
like I said, all working fine now, thanks
-
never mind, got it working. I think it did not like the "#" in a name, but may have been other issues, but renamed on the app and now reflects correctly, great! Very cool!
-
I changed the parameter to "true" and sure enough on one of the nodes I changed the name and restarted the NS an it reflected correctly in the AC. However, I noticed that several other nodes have names that are not reflected the same in the AC
-
Thanks much! Love this NS!!
-
OK, I can control my Kasa Tp-link wifi bulbs with a Kasa NS, no Insteon or Z-wave module needed, so I was looking for something similar, but thanks much
-
controlled by Polisy?
-
Hi, I am looking for edison (filament) style light bulb that can be controlled and dimmed by Polisy. I have used the TP-Link Kasa bulbs, but sometimes they fail. Any recommendation, wi-fi or z-wave OK as long as Polisy controllable. Cree has some inexpensive ones, but I do not see a Cree node server

Mine is working, but "slow". I assume that the slowness is not related to the NS as maybe just some insteon stuff I have going one, although never slow in the past. Will keep testing
-
don't see it yet, guess it takes some time to show up. I will definitely test it.
-
great! can't wait for the new code!
-
I had 2 or 3 days before, but then stopped
-
Not me. I will restart the NS again, but typically this only last a day or two before stops working for me.
-
Yes mine is connected via ethernet cable and I never have a lost connection because I have other yolink devices and the motion detector also always works with hub so that’s not the problem
-
@landolfiagreed. Same with me
